CW: I had some very, very...very loud herb. Loud as in I had to put it in the mini fridge upstairs (inside 3 plastic bags btw) in an attempt to conceal the smell; but, every time I opened the door reaching for water, the smell resonated throughout the entire upstairs. Ended up having to take it outside. Ordered these bags and voila! Put the contents in a bag and took it inside the house and let it sit for a couple of hours. Get back home and NO smell at all. My bf even happened to be standing right over the bag not knowing what was in it and didn't say anything about it. He hates the smell so he definitely would've said something. Now, yes, when I put the bag directly up to my nose, I smelled a little bit but nothing to set off any alarm. The bags are dark so the contents can be discretely tucked away.

Mr. GibsonMr. Gibson: The media could not be loaded.  These bags are perfect! You CANNOT see the contents of them. Shiny metallic black on both sides. Exactly what I was hoping they would be.
The description and pictures weren't extremely specific, so, to clear it up, I've posted some pictures and a short video.

If you need a metallic, sturdy, opaque baggie to hide the contents, these are absolutely perfect. So glad I purchased them.

*SS**N*NTV: I got these not to hold food, really, but for promotional items and giveaways. The bags themselves are jet black on the outside and shiny on the inside. They conceal whatever you put in them so I will be using them as "blind bags" for mystery / random items. They do prevent smells from escaping, though, and it's funny just how much of a potent smell they can cover up. Overall, these are great to use in essentially anything, crafting or otherwise, and the all-black finish gives a sense of "premium" quality goods inside.
