Kiersten: Memories by Lang Leav was a wonderful read. She really does pour her soul into her writing. Her words are full of love, pain, and sorrow and I could feel it in each word. I think I read this book in a week. With the turn of each page was a new experience, a new emotion to feel. I was not disappointed. She is an extraordinary poet.

I givery it a 4 star because the corners are a bit damage and as well a black mark on the pages. I like my books being in good condition. Overall very cheap for its original price. Totally recommend

Mrinmoy: If you are or were in love, this book will act like a catalyst in overflowing those bottled up emotions that you've been putting aside over the years. Lang's way of describing emotions using very simple words is just out of the world. Its not a book to be read like a story book and finish in half a day. Once you read a page, it is bound to throw you back at that point of the past where you must have come across a similar situation. You walk down the memory lane,anticipate those moments and then move forward to the next page. :)

John Walton: Alright, I'm going to start this review off by saying I got into the whole Lang Leav craze a bit late. Bought her second book "Lullabies" and was thoroughly pleased with the purchase; it was fresh and, at the time at least, very good.

So, of course I expected this book, Memories, to be her best yet. And I was wrong. The book of "poetry" is OKAY. I put poetry in quotations because it's mostly just prose—and they all pretty much go the same route: this little piece is about someone, and I am in pain. If you are releasing your third book of "poetry" you should, by now, have broaden your regions as a poet.

Here's the harsh thing I am going to say: Lang Leav is NOT a poet. She's a writer!—but not a poet. Most of these prose pieces play better if you read them like a chapter from a book or something—in other words—I think she should stick to writing short stories rather than trying to write poetry.

The other thing that bothers me with this book is the lack of new material. Yeah, technically there are 79 new "poems" but they all revolve around the same theme, and are generally saying the same thing. It's just boring, I read about 5 of the "new poems" and...
