Amazon Customer: I will have to say, I did have a few favorite lines. I had a few quibbles about some of the poems as far as word choice for some poems, but that more of a fellow poet issue, and nothing reflecting on the collection itself.

Bex Cain: The poems in this collection are centred around the themes of love and loss. I enjoyed this collection, it made me smile and it sometimes made me sad. The poems are quite simplistic and easy to read - something I need as a poetry newbie! I'm not sure how it stands up against other poetry as I am so new to the genre but it was good all the same.

Heather Shaver: A coworker turned me onto this book when we were discussing poetry. While I'm not enlightened by these pieces, I do find that Leav has a great flow and several of her pieces do resonate with me. Other pieces of hers in this book seem too long and kind of drag on. I still admire them and am planning on reading another book by this author.

Just Peachy: Ordered it Thursday Aug 24, got to me today Aug 29. Very fast for international shipping. Came to me brand new, free of scratches and creases or any marks (just the way I like my paperback books). It's a good read of a collection of poems. I wasn't into poems before I read a few pages of this book from a friend who had a copy so I had to buy my own copy to see what it was about.

~KJM~: I'm not a huge fan of poetry, but as I got older I found that I really appreciate it much more after going through some life experiences. I can appreciate it and understand what the author is trying to convey. I found a poem of Lang's on Pinterest and it literally brought tears to my eyes. It was exactly what I was going through at the time. You know when you feel something profound and you want to try and explain the breadth of such a feeling.....but you can't quite articulate how you feel to another person so that they can feel what you are feeling? THAT is what Lang Leav does in all her poetry. All 3 books she has out are beautiful and heartfelt. I recommend this book to anyone that has known love, heartbreak, and feels lost sometimes. 5 stars and am looking forward to her next book out in Oct.

Kayzie Zepeda: The words are too precious and sacred to be read silently and kept in your head. Each poem is meant for you to read to someone special in your life, or meant to be read to you by someone you have loved or have loved you or hurt you. The words are a beautiful lullaby, softly spoken, in whispers, but with burning emotions. The words are a graceful song, but surely not to put you to sleep. Instead, they are words that awaken your soul, heals and hammers your heart. Regardless if they are calm or painful, the words remind you that you are alive and able to feel all these emotions. They remind you to stay awake for love.
