xxx: I purchased this through Amazon to keep me from driving 10 miles to buy this item from a retailer, only to have it arrive with no screws to install. Now have to drive 19 miles to get screws to be able to install.

tjg: The protective screen on the 15 year old installed protective screen became brittle and broke off at the clips. Ordered new one and just used the existing hooded pipe. New protective screen fit old outlet like a glove. Saved me tons of time not having to remove part that was fine. Highly recommend!

catalina: The plastic was super soft so when I tried to screw it on the screw holes got ruined. Also the screen falls off constantly so I opted for a different one.

grannyb: This was exactly like the previous one that had been on since 2008. However, this one is better made as the screen to catch lint is much sturdier than the last one. It was easy to install (did it myself) and fit perfectly. Would recommend this particular dryer hood vent to anyone looking for a replacement at a decent price and that is easy to install.

Edy: The material is so thin broke after 2 weeks in the cold also it is overpriced.
You can find cheaper similar vents way more sturdy
Stay away from this product. Big headache considering that I have to replace it after only 2 weeks.
