Snoopy!: If you are playing roller hockey outside or just skating around, there is no better wheel for you. they are durable and have lasted me over a year, while still giving me a bit of grip for those tight turns. top wheels for outside skating/hockey. DO NOT USE INDOORS OR ON SPORTCOURT!

Todd Poquette: I have been playing roller hockey since 1985 and currently play on a painted concrete surface. I purchased this wheel in the hopes that as the weather gets warmer (and wheels get softer) I could switch from my Labeda Addictions (stock on my FZ-0 model) to offset the temperature change. I was highly disappointed.
I had knee surgery in March'22 - this was a great test to see what stress was put on my knee. Out of the package, I felt like this wheel did more gripping than gliding (and temps were still pretty low). Much more effort required to gain top speed and maintain it. Knee began hurting w/in 15 minutes of the changeover. I have since put my Addictions back on and have had no issues at all. I will be purchasing ONLY the Addiction wheels going forward (well worth the cost given the performance). I am old school "Grippers" also and have never had a problem. Stay away from the Asphalts. I will be using these ONLY in the event I'm playing in a driveway or parking lot (which will pretty much be never).
Labeda is a GREAT product. Please don't get me wrong. I just feel like the Asphalts do not represent this awesome company. Will hold on to these wheels only to hand out...

Tom Walsh: This is the only wheel that stands up to the punishment of skating distances on pavement. Not the fastest wheel out there, but by far the most durable for serious distance skating. Been using this wheel type for 2.5 years, skating 30-50 miles per week.

Robert J Niber: Put these on my son's inline skates so he can skate outdoor inline hockey rink at JMU which is a converted tennis court surface.....good grip and wheels last longer than softer, indoor inline wheels. These asphalt wheel will be less grippy and slippy on an indoor sport court or PVC tile covered inline rink.
