Phil: Product described as is. Replaced for The Wave. After replacing wheels, gave a test run on smooth asphalt surfaces for about 2 hours applying rigorous movement and speed, wheels held up nicely, not worn at all. Attempted a test on harsh asphalt surfaces for about 10s and expected wear, but wheels were fine. Very pleased with product. Will buy again for future replacements.

Logan Jones: I'm a bit disappointed, I thought these wheels were gonna last, boy was I wrong. I can't blame the wheels though, I weight 195 pounds and carve with it downhill which destroys the wheels. They worked relatively well, the bearings are decent, but nothing to write home about. After about 6 miles they were pretty much gone. Fun when they worked. I will say these hold up better than stock wheels so I would recommend these over them, I think I'm too old for ripstiks. I had to move on to a longboard. Sad times.

Save A. Little: The wheels had a much better rolling speed than the wheels that originally came on the Ripstik. The wheels have worn at the same rate or slower than that of the previous wheels.
All in all they were great pair of wheels that have worked really well.

AnthonyAnthony: Good wheel. Nice grip. The pink wheel is after about a 4 mile trail ride on asphalt on the back of a ripstick. Lots of hills. The wear definitely smoothed out the wheel and it still has some use but it did begin to chatter on almost any turn which is more me not paying attention and probably should have swapped it out to the front about halfway through. The wheels are good quality. I don't think there is a difference in material between the pink and blue wheel but I will review the blue ones separate and put it through it's paces.

Cain ScruggsCain Scruggs: Bought these wheels to replace the stock wheels on my ripstick(Long one with grind bar). Wheels held up nicely throughout the month and showed minimal wear after every use. Riding about 2 miles a day would mean they would last around 3 months before balding to the core. Soft enough to carve nicely but hard enough to take a fall.
Now for the bad.
With all castor boards. Carving is the main wag to lose excess speed. This however, converts your speed into heat, which goes directly into the wheels. After bombing a pretty steep hill, I noticed like with other plastic cored wheels, they had melted.(SEE PHOTOS) The plastic core simply falls apart at high temperatures which collapses the wheel, rendering it useless. I do like the fact that since the wheel is thick and malleable, I did not fall off but continued until the core protruded, making contact with the board and stopping. I will definitely look into metal based wheels to fix this issue.
If you are a lighter rider or do not need to lose speed constantly, these wheels are amazing, and stylish. If you are a daredevil and live for speed, I would skip these wheels and find another alternative. I may purchase again...
