J and N May: This lock is very easy to install. I selected this lock for the smart key feature so that one key would fit all the locks in our house. After installation, I was unable to insert the smart key tool into the lock cylinder in order to "rekey" it. I contacted Kwikset, and they immediately sent a new lock cylinder - excellent customer service. I pulled out the lock set and installed the new cylinder and reinstalled the deadbolt on my door. Unfortunately, I have the same issue - can't get the tool to insert. I'm just going to live with needing two keys. Too much time sppent on this already.

Cliente Amazon: Mi patio tiene dos puertas por lo que buscábamos un par de cerraduras que pudieran abrirse con una sola llave y este modelo cumplió totalmente con las espectativas. Fue muy sencillo configurar la nueva llave para ambas cerraduras. Muy recomendable, fácil de instalar y materiales que se ven de buena calidad.

Mancilla: Adquirí este seguro para fortalecer mi puerta junto con una chapa de seguridad, realmente es muy simple y básico la instalación no es complicada simplemente hay que tener las herramientas necesarias y conocimientos básicos de lo mismo, la llave es normal y por dentro cierras con la mano ya que hace la función de seguro, los materiales son buenos y básicos lo recomiendo si lo quieres utilizar como seguro básicamente para no tener que poner la cerradura principal, y si lo ulizas no a pie de calle.

MCSE: I got these because I use the smartkey system throughout my home. While these aren't the strongest locks (they are grade 3, the lowest), they are more than sufficient for deterrent. Please note these are NOT the same ones you get at the big box stores. Those are the grade 1 locks, which are a bit more expensive. Having just replaced some old locks, the Grade 3 lack some of the cylinder protection compared to the grade 1 that I replaced.
These were very easy to install and I had 4 locks on two doors installed in under an hour. If you need a basic lock and aren't terribly concerned about needing super high security, then this model will work just fine for you. Please don't get me wrong, they aren't cheap locks by any means, they just aren't as heavy duty as the Grade 1 certified locks.
