AlexAlex: I’ve had this since April and use it in the house nightly to kill mosquitos that sneak in. It works great. The bulb recently went out and I bought some replacements from the seller as well. When I attempted to remove the bulb, it seemed stuck and then broke apart from the plastic piece which is still stuck inside. It is too narrow to pull out the piece with my hand. I attempted to take it apart from the top but the electrical board prevents access. I’m very disappointed this happened.

fredstevfredstev: Well, it did a good job for about 50 days. I hung it outside under an eave over our deck. Cleaned it every 3 days. This morning, I went out on the deck and the ultraviolet light was out. Unplugged it, let it set for about an hour, and attempted to remove the bulb. Apparently the glue holding the bulb to the bulb base failed. as you can see in the photo. Guess I'm done with this one.
EDIT: They promptly sent us a new bug zapper which works fine. I'm beginning to think the reason the bulb in the first one gave out, is we have a gypsy moth (spongy moth) outbreak here, and when they get zapped, the powder from their wings gets sprayed all over the bulb.

Martina: I've bought two of these and I'm very disappointed. While some mosquitoes are attracted to the light and get killed, they're the minority compared to the swarm of mosquitoes still bothering and stinging you. I even place it right next to me to no avail. It's a complete waste of money and I've been looking at other options now.
