Demetrios J. Tsillas: This is not actually an oil based (urethane) product as the title indicates but a water based acrylic product. This is an advantage IMHO as it has better adhesion and coverage properties over concrete. The product needs mixing as it arrives separated. If the surface is very rough, it may be desirable to mix some fine sand into the produc to fill holes and gaps. Two coats will do a fair job of covering concrete foundation walls. A third coat (after overnight drying) will do an excellent job. Unused product can b e left uncovered overnight without it curing. I'm no paint expert but I was pleasantly suprised by this product (I usually only trust Ben Moore or other premium brands).

Chris McCormack: I tried doing a small stucco wall (first time using stucco for its intended purpose) and painted it with this after it fully dried. It did a great job sealing. I purchased some coloring agent separately, and that gave it a tan hue.

Lisa: We used this to paint a garage cinder block wall. It was only one wall in a single car garage, but the block drank up so much paint that one can only covered 75% of it. So we went to Lowes and tried to purchase another can, but they only had this kind of paint in the Valspar brand.

Having used both brands on the wall, the Kilz is definitely the superior product! Not only was the kilz whiter/brighter, but it was thicker and covered better. We had to use the entire can of Valspar just to finish the 25% remaining AND it was way more expensive. Go with Kilz!
