Kim: I ordered this key because the local Ford dealership wanted $213. I took this key and got them to cut it and program it. They billed my wife $167 gave her the key back told her they got a cut, but couldn’t program it when the wife got home I looked on the Internet and done it myself in less than six minutes. Key works perfectly. Remote start works lock and unlock work, great key for the price

Nicholas St.Germain: The key works well. The biggest issue is that while it does come with programming instructions it only programs the door locks. It does not program the chip inside to work with the ignition. I had to pay a lock smith to clear all of the keys out of the system and program my original and new key to the system. So that was an additional $70 cost.

Jessi: I bought this key because my key fob broke and it wouldnt unlock my car. I program just like you tube said 8x leave on push button. Worked immediately. But now I went to home depot and they would not cut the key they said it would damage my car beacause it needed the chip. I told him I already programed it but he didnt want to. Now I dont know where to go. Will update.

tomos: I purchased the Keyless Entry Remote FOB with key and so far it work very well. I had the key cut by a local locksmith and programmed the Key and FOB transmitter myself. To program the key yourself, you will need the original 2 Key that came with your vehicle. If you do not have both key you will need to go to the dealership or a locksmith, which I understand is quite price. Programming the key was easy, but programming the FOB can be tricky as programming procedures differ from Vehicle to Vehicle. A comprehensive instructions booklet come with the Key/FOB but I had trouble reading it as it was a tiny booklet. The seller does offer Email support and a video. I was able to find a programming video on U-Tube and detailed instructions in the internet. Of important note, when you programming or reprogramming you FOB , you have to program all remotes at the same time

Pragmatic: This new, uncut, un-programmed chipped key fob worked great for us. We had the key portion cut at a big box store. Then used the original two chipped key fobs and the procedure in the manual to program the new key. Worked the first time.

Programming chipped keys and chipped multi-button fobs for Ford Super Duty trucks is pretty straightforward with instructions in the owners manual (page 65 in 2016 Super Duty Owners manual).

The procedure is:

"1. Insert the first previously programmed coded key into the ignition.

2. Switch the ignition from off to on. Keep the ignition on for at least three seconds, but no more than 10 seconds.

3. Switch the ignition off and remove the first coded key from the ignition.

4. After three seconds but within 10 seconds of switching the ignition off, insert the second previously coded key into the ignition.

5. Switch the ignition from off to on. Keep the ignition on for at least three seconds, but no more than 10 seconds.
