It seems to be very energy efficient, as well.
it is being used in a bedroom which gets very humid, and it is quick at bringing down the humidity.

Sara RoseSara Rose: The media could not be loaded.  I bought this as a replacement for a previous model from the same manufacturer. This unit is more robust than the prior model and was simple to set up. The instructions were clear and so far the machine is working very well.

I like the small footprint of the unit and its quiet operation. It also has a large removal water tank, but it also comes with a drain hose for anyone who wants to unit to drain into a sink or bucket. You dan either use gravity to let the water drain to the hose ot use the pump function to pump the water across larger distance.

I also like that the unit is on easy rolling wheels and has a handle to help carry or move the unit if needed.

If you buy this one, remember to let it sit upright for 24 hours before you set it up. Those instructions are included but not everyone reads instructions.

EmzyEmzy: There is no doubt that this machine is well capable of moving moisture from the air. At high fan setting it is quick to bring room humidity down to a reasonable level. At low fan speed the noise doesn't bother me, even watching television. At night setting the timer and leaving fan speed at high has been very helpful in keeping condensation off my windows and glass door. Customer service have also been very helpful and efficient with queries regarding the warranty and option to extend it to 2 years with registration. So far so good.

dante99: The reservoir tank is really small and I had to empty it 4-5 times a day. There is a cheap hose assembly to pipe the water to a drain but there is no pump to assist the drainage hose. Therefore, you need to elevate the dehumidifier in order to gain positive drainage. I guess this would somewhat work in a basement but where would you locate the dehumidifier if used upstairs?? Next to the kitchen or bathroom sink?? I don't know. I ended up sending it back and the seller gave me a full refund. Thanks.

Lynn: This little machine works extremely well and well built. I can't believe how quickly it brings humidity levels down so quickly and maintain those levels for comfortable and healthy living. The only drawback I can see is wishing the water holding container was larger. I got tired of changing it out so I decided to use the hose system and let it drain into the sub-pump, easy peasy. I give this dehumidifier 2 thumbs up as it's a powerhouse without the issues of noise and expense to run. I bought a 3 year warranty just in case however thinking I won't need it.

Customer: Let me begin by saying I’m not being compensated or anything for this review. I live in Florida in an apartment with very poor air circulation and windows that don’t fully seal out the outside humidity so it’s very musty in here. Usually over 55% humidity and now in the summer over 65%.

In my shower, I used to spend hours cleaning all the mold, only for it to come right back in 2 days - making me sneeze like crazy while taking a shower with my eyes burning. SO FRUSTRATING. My hair would even get frizzy INSIDE THE HOUSE. That’s when I decided it was time to invest in a dehumidifier and I’ve had it for around 9 months now.

I just bought two other small dehumidifiers and they are so weak compared to this. Before today, I thought this one was just collecting so much water because it is so humid in here. Well, yes, it is, but it is mostly that this dehumidifier is also just very very effective.

I set the timer for 2 hours after we shower, (super tiny room with just shower and toilet; ~25 sq ft) and it dries up my bathroom completely and the bucket will be 3/4ths full. I also run it in the living room/kitchen area as often as my lazy butt is willing to...

ET: This is definitely a premier dehumidifier for smaller spaces. Been using it for about 5 months, and have had no problems or malfunctions at all.

First off, mobility. It is very light and easy to pickup with the built-in handles. Once in the chosen destination, it can be pushed and spun around with ease since it has rotatable wheels.

Second, noise. It is definitely quieter than my previous, larger dehumidifier, but it's not completely silent and you shouldn't expect it to be. If it sits in your basement near a room with a furnace or central air unit, one of those would likely be considerably louder and drown out the noise from this dehumidifier. The fan speed can bet set to high or low, and the high is noticeably louder, so I always keep it low.

Third, panel control. Lots of settings to optimally adapt to your environment. The most useful of course is the humidity setting. I prefer to keep mine lower around the 30-40 level, which will result in more water being collected and hence more trips to empty the tank (unless you use the hose to automatically drain, which I don't), but it's worth it to keep the humidity low in the house.

The only negative aspect...
