Jordan Ilaréguy: When it comes to the quality of the dog tie out cable that I purchased, I was mostly satisfied. The cable is definitely strong and durable, and after months of daily use, it hasn't broken anywhere. However, I did notice that it started to kink and knot up after a while, which was a bit frustrating. While it's not a bad option overall, I do think that there are better options out there if you're looking for a truly top-notch dog tie out cable. With that said, if you're on a budget or just need a quick solution, this cable is still a good quality option to consider.

Amber Johnson: I have been using this for over a year now (with the matching stake) and it’s been incredible. The only times I’ve had to go out and fix it is when leaves get caught in it. I’ve had it through all the Wisconsin seasons and have never had to fight with it. Would highly recommend

Janine Jackelen: I was having problems finding a tether for my small dog. I needed one long enough,12-14 foot, for him to get into the grass but not so long he could get into my neighbors yard. Everything I found in the local stores was either too long or way to short. This fit my needs as was light enough my little guy did not struggle with moving it.

Trang ThaiTrang Thai: The media could not be loaded. I have a pup that has chewed uncountable fabric and nylon leashes. I do not have fencing and love the idea my dog could roam our 2 acres somewhat free. I am also too busy to walk him or watch him for long, especially during cold dark snowy winter nights. So, I potty trained my dog to a designated area and will pick up in the morning/ when it is nicer, and leave him on leash for as long as he wants. We do not have a dog door so I keep the storm door slightly open for him to go home.
That being said, my dog is totally alone when he is outside. At a point he too often chews off the leash and roam the neighborhood. He is also super friendly, so he ended up following other dog owners to their homes. Multiple times. Until I have this leash. Especially when I let him out and totally forgot that I did. I think he could still break this leash with his sharp teeth but for whatever reason, he does not even try, there are no teeth marks other than at one spot.
I could have gotten 50 ft for my yard size, but I got 30 ft first. It gives him enough space, he could get to either side of the house and into the garage but definitely could use even...

Amazon Customer: I have bought this brand before and my 10 & 11 lb dogs have pulled so hard on the 30 lb cables they broke. They chase rabbits and the cables get pulled on very hard. 30lb cables were not enough for the snap when they got to the end of the cables. I now have the 125 lb cables and they are heavy one them but they are not pulling them apart at the hubs. They lighter weight cables they always pulled the ends apart and then the cable would rust and break. I love the totally covered plastic/rubber coated cables.

Amazon Customer: This product is excellent at doing it’s designed to do; keep dogs from running away. I should also have a disclaimer that says something to the effect of...“If you have one end of this cable attached to a dog’s collar and the other end attached to an immovable object and the dog starts to chase after something, a car, a child, another dog, a ball, a wild animal, etc. your dog could be seriously injured if this cable reaches full length while your dog is running!”

christy smith: I really like how strong this leash is. It’s long enough for my dog to mosey around but not long enough that it’s an issue when other people are around. My dog was able to bite off the plastic covers that are just under the clip, so that was disappointing they weren’t a little more stable and secure. So for me the durability wasnt an exact 5/5 but I do have to say, with the plastic cover gone, the leash is still holding up strong. I’m impressed!
