Jeff: Stake goes deep and is easy to install. I do not have big dogs (Yorkie and Shicon) and the stake definitely keeps them tethered to their 50 foot line. I cannot attest to how well it would work on larger dogs, but I feel it could handle a couple of big dogs.

Caleb's MomCaleb's Mom: This thing is awesome! My family is currently at the beach and we used this tie out stake for the first time today. It is extremely solid and was easy to secure in the sand. Before hooking our dog up to it, my husband pulled as hard as he could on it and it stayed secure. Our dog weighs about 35lbs. and we used a basic 10 ft cable with this stake. At one point two people in our group were tossing a ball and our pup ran full force to try to get it. She hit the end of the line and it jerked her back a couple of feet, but the stake didn’t budge at all. Would highly recommend this to others looking to use it on the beach.

West End Girl: very sturdy and durable. it survived getting run over by a drive lawnmower with only a bit of a gash. it remained basically fully intact. Easy to install and uninstall if change in position needed. the little red flag provided is so useful (when used). Finally a stake I can trust not to break, bend, or fall over or fall out no matter how much my very strong dog challenges it.

Camping-girl: I only used this product for a short time camping. I used it in grass fields and in the camp site (combo of gravel and dirt). I have not tested it at the beach yet. Regardless, it is very sturdy. My 50 pound dog saw a rabbit and bolted. This dog stake stopped him in his tracks. I was thankful that all my dog was okay and he did not run off! It can be tricky to get it in but as the video shows, you need to take your time and apply constant pressure when installed it.

Thomas Opasinis: This thing is simply amazing. I recommend this to anyone who has a dog. It's not the easiest to put into the ground but there is no way any dog is ripping it out of the ground. And if your dog bent it like some of these other reviews, that's because you didn't install it properly. If installed properly no dog is going to bend it or rip it out of the ground. ( I have 2 Siberian Huskies tied to mine) Buy it it's worth more than they sell it for. You will never need to buy a new one if taken care of properly and not left out all year around in snow and rain.

Char Izsak: I have a 100 lb Goldador who pretty much snapped every stake. Bought this a year ago and it is still perfect shape. Those who mentioned it bent may not have had it all the way in the ground. Only issue is that it was difficult to get into the ground.
