Janice: I have purchased many water fountains for my 2 cats, and this one is by far the best one ever. There are very few parts to clean and disassembly and reassembly are hassle free. I purchased the one with the ceramic tray, I only fill with filtered water and it stays clean for 10 days. It is totally silent, and if it starts to gurgle it usually means it is time to clean it. No more cats paws in the water, no more cats trying to drink from a spout, and that results in no water spillage. And, this company is totally and successfully client/personal satisfaction based. Amazon Customer: Bought this water fountain to replace my cat's previous one, and I thought my cat would be wary of the change, but he didn't even notice when I swapped his fountain! The fountain was easy and quick to assemble, and is also so much quieter than my cat's old one.

The box only comes with one free filter, but you do get a couple more if you contact them via Messenger (instructions included in the box). The additional free filters ship out separately, but after I received confirmation from their team, I was able to receive the filters within the next two days of contacting them. Overall really satisfied with their service and product so far :)

Holly B Maiko: I bought this a year ago and just recently had issues with the pump from what I am reading in other reviews. I keep this clean and replace the filter and pump filter routinely. Now it is flashing blue then red. I even saw how I can clean the pump by taking it apart, which was very easy to do. I did find a lot of debris in this and got it all cleaned out. I was so excited thinking this would surely help but it is still flashing blue then red and my cats miss this fountain. I'm trying to reach customer service to confirm this is in fact the pump. Please reply to let me know so I can address this. This was a great purchase and I'd like to have it working again. Thank you!

Mary MalmquistMary Malmquist: UPDATE: I left the fountain unplugged for several days - it just became a big cup for my ladies. On a whim tonight, I plugged it back in ans it's working!!! I never submerged the base in water or have used water to clean the base, but I have to assume that water entering the base may have caused it to malfunction (when I was filling it or something). Otherwise all components were checked for clogs, and all were absolutely clean. I would buy this fountain over and over again due to their enjoyment of it, increased water consumption, and ease of cleaning.

This fountain (I have purchased two) is fantastic, and both of my cats love it more than their previous fountain. Both fountains are visited daily and I am relieved to know that they are drinking water more than they have with past options: a different fountain and regular bowls. Today, however, one of my units stopped working and is blinking white. I checked all components for debris, obstructions, and disassembled the pump and cleaned all. 4 stars, because I think the filters are a little expensive and you have to clean more often than other filters I had in the past.

After posting my review down below, Customer Service reached out and offered to send another replacement pump. They also noted that since I'd purchased the fountain a year ago, they've updated the pump twice and it should be working better than before.

They provided a detailed explanation as to how it works, which i'll share here: "Actually, when the water level is low that will trigger the LED button illuminating in red color and the pump stop working. Since that, we do not expect the pump to burn out. The alert mechanism is designed to be triggered when the water volume is between 150ml and 200ml. In this case, The LED light will illuminate in red color."

I really appreciate their dedication to fixing this, and i'm very much hoping that the new pump will perform better than the previous one! I've tried multiple fountains and this one is definitely my favorite of them all, so I hope that this will be the last time I need to replace anything in it (besides the filters every month, of course).
