David G.: This set will drill holes in Sheetrock, soft woods and laminated woods, but don’t expect it to be accurate in size.
The hole saw to spindle tolerances are poor so as the assembly rotates it is out of round - thus over sizing the finished hole. If you plan to put for instance a grommet into the hole to finish it, the grommet will be loose. If the grommet is on a vertical surface (say a wire through hole in a cabinet) it will fall out ! You’ll need to glue it in place. If your doing the same on Sheetrock, it’s an oversized mess.
I do a lot of tv and sound system installations and this set doesn’t cut it ! The result is sloppy and not up to my standards

Jonathan Smith: I have only used the hole saw kit for some work with PVC, but they are great. Parts are easy to swap between and produce the uniform holes I needed. Occasionally the PVC can get jammed up in the bit and takes a little work to free, but that is to be expected.
All in all, good quality for the price if you need an inexpensive, smaller diameter, hole saw kit.

AC: I only need to use it to drill holes in plastic container top. So I didn't want to spend a lot. It does the job good enough. It is hard to get it drill the hole completely but you will get 80%-90% then because the plastic is thing, I can just kind of "peel" if off or use a pair of scissors to finish it off.
Again I am giving it a 4 star rating because it does what I need it to do. I think it will only be a 3 star max if you have to do dril through thick material.

MarioMario: I loved how nicely the small box is organized to fit all these tools in such a small box. It even comes with an extra free bag to put it in. Very well designed. The variety of sizes makes it very useful. I spent a lot time looking for a saw that meaasured a certain size that I couldn't find at my local hardware stores.
