lubylu55: The evil’s form was a crazed mother who intimidated all those who lived with her. Sometimes she terrorized them all. Her son Jacob believes she’s a raving lunatic.

This story is full of triggers for people who have been intimidated and/or terrorized by someone they love.

Terri: I couldn’t put this book down! It was so fast paced, and I was rooting for Niki and Sharon the entire time! I smiled and at times had tears in my eyes, especially the ending! A VERY GOOD book!

ti: The author does a good job of causing you to care for “The Moonlight Child”, held captive and in servitude. You route for her. There is also a good supporting cast of characters as well as a good villain. Recommended for those who loved “Annie” or who are dealing with their own childhood abuse issues.

Nerodog: Interesting characters, highly original plot, plausibly presented, everything tied up neatly at the end in an emotionally satisfying way. No voyeuristic wallowing in gratuitous violence, thank heavens.
