TJF@Denver: great product for the price ... little slow to register NCV but it does (maybe a 1 second delay) ... just be slow and sure in your probing efforts! kaiweets does a great job ... but give me a 3-in-1 bag to hold my multi meter, NCV pen, and plug tester ... just saying :)

菊地昭郎: 普通の検電器としては問題無くつかえます。電圧表示に期待してましたが表示が不安定で誤差が大きいのが残念、100V、200V表示は➕➖10Vの範囲なら良いと思いました。因みに実際使ってみて誤差は40V以上でしたね。

- NCV detection is spotty
- Screen can be difficult to see even indoors in a well lit room
- Automatic DC, AC, Resistance, and Continuity detection is unreliable
- Speaker for the audible continuity indicator is almost useless
I been looking for a compact stick meter like this for a while now. The current selection of compact stick meters is not great. Most of them have flaws or questionable design decisions that make them unsuitable for general use, in my opinion.
I ran across this meter while browsing Aliexpress and it looked to have most of what I was seeking.
So I decided to pick it up here on Amazon, in case there was an issue with it.
Unfortunately this meter does not pass the check.
The first and most major issue is the grouping of AC, DC, Resistance, and Continuity measurements into the Auto mode ONLY. This means you do not have the option to independently select any of these modes.
Why this is an issue? There will almost certainly always be some electrical interference nearby wherever you plan to use a multimeter. You may see up to a few volts of interference with the probes touching nothing at all....
