Richard Tucker: Great quality for the price. There are minor cosmetic flaws in the casting of the heads. And though I have not tried yet, I believe these to be fully functional axes.

Victor: I'm going to call it 3 in 1 Survival axe. The only thing I don't like was the handle design. I was able to change a minor thing with a grinder tool. Now, it looks better.

VVBulldog: I bought this to be a tool in my off-road kit I have in my Jeep Wrangler. I like having a chopper and hammer all in one but was looking for something a tad lighter than the Cold Steel Rifleman's Hawk I carry in my trucks off-road kit. This one seems to fit the bill and I like the included sheath to cover the blade head. The handle is a good length and has a great feel to it. The head is heavy enough to do work but should not be so heavy that it could not be used by anybody. The blade came sharp and the hammer head is nice. I think it will work well for me.

The install is easy and even included the allen wrench to tighten the included hardware. It is simple and you should not need instructions.

It came with a string to use as a lanyard that was rather cheap feeling and seemingly weak. I didn't use it but I was not planning on it so I am not bothered by it. If I wanted a lanyard I would do what I have always done and simply use 550 cord. So no marks off for this but I wanted to include a full review.
