Marie G.: I absolutely LOVE this author's Junie books! They are wonderfully fun for group reading in my kindergarten classroom, and later in my first grade classroom. The kids groan when the chapter is over and they have to wait until the next day to hear the next chapter. These books generate a lot of "teachable moments" and opportunities to talk about "What would you have done if you were that character?" or "What do you think about how that character is behaving or what they are doing."

Junie B. is so funny. The author has a good sense of humor and I've never had a kid tell me they didn't enjoy a "Junie" book. I recommend this book and all the others in the series.
