Fielding Isaacs jr: My 10 year old picked this out for school this year. Notebooks fit well along with room for a jacket etc. I think he may get to use it again next year. Great backpack.

Lacey-Lyn: I got this back pack for my 9 year old and it fits perfect. I would say it would be too small for a high schooler, but definitely good fit for elementary age. The straps are wide and cushioned so it is very comfortable. Would work good for traveling as well. Two separate compartments. The large is spacious and the front zipper has extra little pocket for your small items. I would say this is a win.
