Lou Scott-Joynt: 'Jesus Calling' was a gift to me six months ago, when I was feeling rather low and it has more than met my expectations, planted by the person who kindly bought it for me. I find the fairly brief page a day pieces, written as if from the mouth of Jesus, accompanied by a few absolutely to the point biblical references, a refreshing and encouraging way to begin each day, alongside my early morning cup of tea(!), and would recommend 'Jesus Calling' particularly to anyone who finds it hard to hold onto the belief that the Lord is constantly present and loves us without limit, whoever we are.
