Martha N. Walsworth: This is a heart warming story about love and relationships. The characters are great and the writing is excellent. Wonderful story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was my second fictional visit to the town of Wishing Tree, and I couldn’t complain. The only reason I’ve marked it down to a 4 was because there were a couple of plot flaws towards the end. Specifically it was noted someone was missing at the Christmas concert, but then the next day in a conversation that same person said they were there. Just enough of a flaw to make you go “huh?!”

Cindy Adair: In the town of Wishing Tree, there are two romances brewing just before Christmas! Best friends Jake and Dylan fall for friends Camryn and River - thanks to the manipulations of Jake’s mom. Sometimes mothers do know best about who is perfect for their children, but holding interviews and having background checks run is a little over the top ! As they avoid her plotting and interference, Jake and Dylan manage to find the perfect girls. Naturally, in the tried and true plot line of boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back, the reader can predict how this will end! Even so, it is a great feel good romance to read during the holidays.

Anita Radford: Pleased with book as I like the style of this writer. What I WAS NOT HAPPY about was the delivery part of it. The Driver left it downstairs with one of our neighbours without even coming up the stairs to our flat!! Luckily, the Neighbour he did leave the book with didn't mind taking it even though I hadn't left instructions to say so!!

B. J. Taylor: Susan Mallery delivers another heartwarming romance set in the enchanting town of Wishing Tree.
When Camryn Neff’s mother died, she moved to Wishing Tree, leaving her life in Chicago behind…for the time being. She is now the guardian of her teenage twin sisters.
River Best was charmed by the quaint little town when she first visited her sister there. So charmed, she decided to stay.
Camryn and River fall in love with the all-too-perfect men. (Hey, a girl can dream!) Jake Crane catches Camryn’s eye, and she can’t resist. But Camryn plans to move back to Chicago when the twins go to college. She can’t fall in love with someone in Wishing Tree. They begin a romance with an expiration date. For River, keeping secrets is a deal breaker, and her new love Dylan Tucker has a big secret. Of course, their romances can’t come to fruition without some angst thrown in. For all four lovers, this is a story of loss and healing.
I really liked Jake’s mother. She does meddle in her son’s life, but sometimes it is needed. I had a few chuckles over her antics. And I fell in love with the little dog so adorably named Tinsel.

Tammy Lio: I thoroughly enjoyed my visit back to Wishing Tree! It is such a happy place. Camryn’s and River’s stories truly pull on the heartstrings. Jake and Dylan are well-established, good men who do not want anybody meddling in their lives. However, the holiday season is the perfect time for some meddling! I really liked how Camryn and Jake’s relationship start and builds. The writing of that story was so good! River and Dylan’s story was equally engaging although felt a little rushed to fit in the book. I would have liked River and Dylan to have more pages in the book. It is a great holiday story and Susan never disappoints in happy endings!

Kindle Customer: What a wonderful Christmas love story this turned out to be. Camryn and Jake were just made for each other but it took a while before they realised their feelings for each other. River and Dylan were thrown together as the Snow Queen and Snow King. Little by little they managed to overcome their trust issues and declare their feelings for each other.

Patricia (Kindle Customer): Overall a nice book, but I was hoping that Paisley's story would be next. In The Christmas Wedding Guest, Paisley was mentioned a lot more than Camryn and River is a totally new character. Hopefully, there will be another book in the Wishing Tree series and Paisley's story can finally be told.
