Joe: If you like really slow motion stuff this jack is for you . Would not recommend it goes up a fraction of mm with each pump of jack handle and yes i had it set up properly . Box came very damaged looked like it had been underwater .

Fred C: This jack lifts (...of course it does it extremely slowly.) It takes a lot of pumps to move the piston up incrementally. It does stay up, so no issues there. No leaks. After you are done and have lowered the item, the piston will now not lower on its own no matter how far open I turn the valve (I have to put all my weight on it to push it back into the housing for storage.)
