iSpring WSP-50SL Reusable Whole House Spin Down Sediment Water Filter with Softening Capabilities

MrCleanMrClean: The media could not be loaded.  I had an old broken down leaking full size water softener i had to get rid of, i used the connections from that water softener for this filter instead and it ended up working perfectly, there was even a connection for the flush valve on this filter from the old softener! I know my installation looks rather "primitive" but its working great doesnt leak and the flexible water pipes are actually pretty stiff so they hold the filter in place well, and allow me to "adjust" where it sits. I know im rambling but just wanted to throw this idea out there for everyone!

ZenSpirit: I replaced my 20 year old softwater system with two sediment filters. I have a well system that is cleaned with ozone so only needed to filter sediment. We got tired of the feel of softwater. I put the iSpring in front of my irrigation system so I could easily flush the spin down filter when needed and put a cartridge filter in front of the water heater. The original purchase was the 50 micro filter but it impacted the water pressure in the irrigation system so contacted iSpring and they sent me a 100 micro filter. Works perfect. iSpring's customer service was quickly responsive and sent me the 100 micro. They are easy to work with and I love the filter. I plan to rotate the filters during the winter months when I shut down the irrigation system. The 50 micro filter work fine in the house with little loss in pressure.

David: I bought the filter with 50 micron filter found out was a little to fine for my well called customer support talked to " Nick " he said to try a 100 micron he said he would send one out free of charge . Great company .

Smaz: Install this strainer on my well, found out that the strainer was too small and will stopping up quickly. Called and talk to Nick at ispring, explained my situation, he recommended the 200 micron or the 500 micron filter and is sending them to me free of charge. Now that is service! Thank you, Nick.

ascanlonascanlon: Currently working to re-plumb my entire house and figured some better filtration was needed. I chose this reusable sediment filter and couldn't be happier. Unit itself is very solid and the filter is offered in a variety of micron levels to best meet the needs. When it does start to get dirty or plugged, the filter can be back-flushed or removed and cleaned for extra longevity at no extra cost. Includes the mounting bracket which made installation a breeze. Add your inlet and outlet fittings along with a couple of shut-off valves and your pretty much done.

A big shout-out to Nick in the customer support department too. I had a couple of post-sale questions regarding the unit I had purchased, and Nick was great in responding quickly and answering all of my questions. This level of support is getting increasingly rare nowadays, so getting a quick response from Nick was greatly appreciated.

I have this filter installed between my well pump and bladder where it catches Particles before they get into the system.

Liz Johnson: In June 2021 we installed the iSpring's WGB32B full house water system along with their Spin Down filter (WSP 50 Micron) and UV Light (UVF55) at our family cottage. We have experienced quite a significant change in water quality since this system has been installed (almost 18 months now). Everyone in the extended family who use the cottage all are totally impressed with the fantastic taste, no Sulphur smell, and reduced hardness of the water now, i.e., no more bottled water needed! This includes our elderly parents who had many negative effects from the original well water and now they love the water at the cottage – they say it is even better than their city water. An additional benefit of this new system is that there is no more staining of the kitchen and bathroom fixtures (i.e., sinks, tub, and toilet). As for iSpring's customer service, they are top notch (thanks again Francis). They were very helpful in our original investigation/design questions, responded very quickly with an issue of a broken filter during shipping (they expedited us a new filter right away), and gave great support figuring out a low water pressure issue (which happened to be just the Spin Down filter...

CorwinOfAmber: I installed this product as a pre-filter before my filtering and UV system - it was easy to install (assuming you know how to do some plumbing) and worked great.
My main concern is how quickly it clogged but this was more due to my well sending larger sediment than expected.
I switched from 50 micron (make sure to clean it every month or so) to 500 before the 50.
During this i go great service from Sean that not only suggested solution but also is sending me free screens to alter and try.

Recommending the product abs service.
