JETZAP: Wished it would bring down ppm to less than 10 without alkaline, but 30 was the best I got. The alkaline filter bumps it up to 46 or so.

I got a separate filter with maefian stones or whatever to add after the alkaline for an extra boost. Somebody had mentioned adding a couple of the alkaline filters has an additive effect on the PPM and also PH. So it makes me think the more the better? Thinking about a river stream, water travels long distances gathering minerals along the way. So to simulate the same effectively one would need a snake of alkaline filters, 10 or more. I searched online if anyone has ever do that, and no. Seems like a no brainer though if you have the space and mula to do it.

If someone does it please report back to review section with PPM and PH readings.

Overall, happy with the purchase. Easy to install.

Wish also it had come with a male 1/8 threaded adapter with the 1/4 quick connect so I could simply connect my preexisting fridge hose. Even their SKU with the adapter doesnt include it so I had to search for a solution on amazon. But almost perfect, 4.5 stars rounded up 5.

I had a very minor issue that did not scare me away from this product nor create any annoyance re. installation. Francis quickly contacted and helped rectify a very minor issue I had, following up with me to try and rectify the issue asap - thank you Francis!

Packaging & instructions/fitting:
The box arrived well packed and packed so well that I would not expect damage during transit. Each item was in its own box and had very little movement. The items came out of the box easily and had no damage. Well packed.
The instructions for the assembly and fitment were very detailed. If self-fitting this unit, you probably have some kind of idea about what you are doing so you may not need to use the instructions as gospel, but they do provide a very well detailed and easy to follow assembly instruction. The flow diagram was welcomed too. A nice quick reference guide to hosing. This helped me more than the instructions - I find visual instruction easier than detailed description instruction. Come da foto, ho fatto evaporare un po di acqua senza depuratore e con e penso che la differenza si noti chiaramente. Ho fatto bollire l'acqua per circa 20/25 minuti. La patina bianca dell'acqua depurata si è cominciata a presentare dopo circa 20 min. Mi sembra un ottimo risultato. In fondo non deve essere acqua distillata. Ancora non voglio cantare vittoria perché dovrò fare analizzare l'acqua e solo il tempo dirà se ne è valsa la pena. Faccio solo presente che in Italia i depuratori d'acqua vengono venduti a 2000 euro in su (il mio mi ha chiesto 4400) e non hanno assolutamente nulla da invidiare a questo modello. Anzi. Me sorprendió gratamente cuando el sistema llegó aquí en solo tres días. Esto es un gran problema aquí en México, nuestra agua del grifo suele tener alrededor de 400 ppm de TDS (sólidos disueltos totales). Después de la purificación, nuestra agua potable sale con alrededor de 35 a 40 ppm de TDS. Además, nuestro servicio de entrega era algo poco confiable, a veces no cumplía con su horario.

En México, la mayoría de las casas y apartamentos tienen tanques de agua instalados en el techo. Se alimentan por gravedad y, por lo tanto, la presión de entrada de agua es de solo 15 psi. It was tolerable with a filter going through the refrigerator and on the shower head, but not great. Then something went very wrong and I still don't know what. My white towels came out yellow after a wash telling me that what I had already felt was right something was wrong with the water. So finally the landlord put a filter on the main pump, which was shocking to me to discover there hadn't been one in the first place, and the towels stopped being yellow. WolfmanmachineWolfmanmachine: I purchased the iSpring RCC7AK 6-Stage RO filter out of necessity when I could not purchase a sufficient quantity of bottled water at the store due to the COVID-19 shortages. Before this, I drank only bottled water because my tap water is especially rusty and full of sediment due to old pipes in my neighborhood. The tap water also had a strong smell of chlorine, metallic taste and would smell funny if stored in the refrigerator for a few days.

That is no longer the case! Now, thanks to this RO filter system, I get water from the faucet that is as good as, if not better, than the water I bought from the store. I figure I'm saving at least $25 a month in water costs, which will have the system pay for itself in way under a year. Plus, no more lugging gallons of water from the store or making unnecessary trips in search of water.

The system is fairly easy to install, requiring only the most basic understanding of plumbing and hand tools, albeit it helps to be flexible to get under your sink. The instruction manual is helpful, and there are several videos on YouTube to walk you through the process. All I can really say is that there's a big difference between watching...
