The man: I didn't know what to expect from these bands because I saw mixed reviews. I've used Eakrola, Undersun, and a couple other brands. All great bands with good resistance by the way. When I opened these and took them out, there was a funny smell. But that wasn't to big a deal for me. I let them air out for awhile. But the other thing I noticed was, my other bands when I'd grab and move or handle them, they were nice and light and light feeling. When I grabbed and handled Iron Infidel bands, I noticed a heaviness and density to them that was different. With the other bands, I used a bar and connected the X-Heavy band to it and stood on one part of the bands and did 15 or more curls with them. When I tried the Iron Infidel X-Heavy band the same way, I could barely get one curl 😆. I couldn't believe the difference. And to top that off, they have a XX-Heavy band. So if you're thinking of or planning on buying these, be careful. These are no joke. They're for heavy lifters and you'll have to make adjustments with these bands if you're used to using other brands. You can get injured easily with these if you're not careful. And I don't mean that as a negative. So if you're serious about...

JP: I'm in my 40s and have been lifting weights since I was 16; however, this past year some of my joints are starting to hurt so I heard about and looked into Variable Resistance Training with the use of heavy bands that can provide heavy weights. It's a whole new type of workout, that I've learned, is highly effective. These bands allow you to workout any muscle group you want; they're very durable, effective, and are exactly what is advertised by this company. If you're still trying to decide between this company and one with a lower price, allow me to help. I started off with cheaper bands, and they weren't as stable, and effective in the increase in weight, so I finally ended up here. It'll end up being cheaper for you to just go with these guys right from the start, and you won't regret it.
Also, a couple tips: heavy resistance band training is very different than weights, since the weight increases as you reach the strongest point during each lift. Allow yourself to adjust to this and give it a week or two before you form an opinion, and it helps if with each set, you max out on the reps until total exhaustion, because there is where you will truly be able to determine...

Life of BravoLife of Bravo: The media could not be loaded. Full transparency - I am in no way implying that I am equal to any Marvel superhero, but I am a tactical law enforcement defense trainer, MMA fighter/coach and fitness coach. If you look at the attached photo - that is a 50ft., 150 lb. (68 kilos) steel chain that I use to train battle ropes. Over the course of 4 years of using battle chains up to 300 pounds, it is eerie how strong my entire body and core are. I’ve lost count of how many resistance bands and tubes that I have destroyed, but these Iron Infidel bands are the opponent I never thought I would meet. They are as challenging as my chains.
Firstly, I am truly humbled by how much resistance they offer. Secondly, as a 260lb grappler, wrestler, jiu jitsu fighter and multi-discipline martial artist - I can honestly say that these bands, when used correctly, will intensify and thoroughly challenge any type of elite athlete. None of my personal trainer, weightlifting, or calisthenics buddies will use the bands with me in the presence of women or their own clients. Even I, despite what I thought was impressive strength, feel like I have been exposed by the Iron Infidel company...

Rick: Having my home gym in the garage in hot weather Arizona (with lots of fans) has caused a variety of bands to break down / tear way too quickly. It's only been a month but I have been very impressed with the quality (granted, they are more expensive) as well as the variety provided. I recommend.
