Ken Stewart/Timeless Iron Forge: I have not purchased welding clamps other than Vise Grip brand in years as they have all been junk.
Having said that I must say that these clamps are of the same quality as VG brand and at a much better price point.
If you need welding clamps I highly recommend these.

Gregory Deal: I was concerned over reviews that suggested these weren't as sturdy as Milwaukee or Irwin. The C clamp portion thickness is 3/16", and looks sturdy enough. Some old Irwin ones I had were 1/4", so yeah, they're lighter duty. But, I was using them to quickly secure a Kreg jig, and the job couldn't have gone more quickly. Clamping and un-clamping were instantaneous, much quicker than the typical C clamps (with threaded rod) I had been using. Any clamping I do is on wood, so I probably will never need the heaviest-duty ones. And for about $8 a piece (compared to name brand ones at $23), these were a great buy. I'll update if anything ever bends/breaks.
