Scruffy: This tool makes it easy to bend s-hooks for connecting chains, one-handed. I haven't tried other fence pliers, but i wouldn't go any more lightweight than this.

Darren: They are very nice set of fencing pliers, I’ve used quite a few other brands and these are nice to work with, just a little softer metal than I prefer. If you want the best I recommend crescent brand pliers.
