Intelligent Auto Power Off Pet Water Fountain by Comsmart - Stainless Steel Design

Tehquiena80: The media could not be loaded.  Update edit: after only having it for 9 weeks, it stopped working. The unit would go red for no reason. Usually red is when there is no water but in my case that wasn’t the issue. I faithfully cleaned this unit every 2 weeks and on the beginning of month I would change out the filter (only have 1 cat) so there is no reason for the unit to stop working. I could get it to go back to blue for like 5 mins and then it would change back to blinking red. I had to return it. So now I’m nervous on getting another one of this brand. I’m thinking the pump was trash because there is no other reason for it to malfunction like that. I still love the idea and my cat honestly does love this fountain. I just have to decide if I’m going to get another of this one or get another brand. There wasn’t even a customer service number for Comsmart company or a website so I could get ahold of them for troubleshooting info. There is no troubleshooting info on the one piece of instruction/assembly paper that comes with the product. Not liking that so much now.

Kindle Customer: The fountain is super quite. I can't hear the motor at all. The only noise it makes is the water flowing. My cat took right to it.

Megan: I bought this fountain for my spoiled cats back in December 2020 and they absolutely love it. Some people had said that theirs gets noisy after awhile, but mine has stayed silent. I can barely hear it when I stand right next to it.
HOWEVER, it does have some issues with the pump. It says the pump is suppose to last for like 4 years, but in April of 2021 (4 months after purchase), the original pump stopped working. It slowly started pushing less water through it until it stopped completely. I reached out to customer service and they were very quick to get back to me. They offered to either send me a new one for free (but they said it could take up to 40 days to receive it) or they could give me a discount to buy one on Amazon so it would get to me quicker. I opted to take the free pump. I also bought a new pump at full price ($9) because I figured I could having an extra pump in case the next one decides to quit on me.
Well… low and behold, today (September 2021 - not even 5 months after putting in the new pump), my second pump died on me. Luckily I had the “free pump” in my cupboard so I could replace it right away, but I’ll have to go spend another $10 for a new...

Atheen: This is very nice. Virtually noiseless, quickly assembled, and easy to fill. Adds humidity to the air in the winter, provides entertainment for the felines of the house and a peaceful meditation for the humans in it. At first my female cat Morticia (she's a black cat found at Halloween) would have nothing to do with it, now she's the primary user. Chewey (a male black cat from whom nothing is safe) finds it fascinating but still has difficulty drinking without getting wet. (Which provides me with endless entertainment during the pandemic). Since he was inclined to spill his water dish in the kitchen, this new system is a welcome invention. I no longer worry about mopping up his spills or finding myself on the kitchen floor after his endeavors to "rescue" his catnip mouse from "drowning" in his water bowl. Ever the curious cat, he does, however, want to see how the thing works and tries to pull off the flower assemblage, which lifts the covering pan and disconnects the fountain apparatus. If you're inclined to go away for a day or two relying on the pump for your cat's water supply, you might like to think of leaving a back-up water bowl too.

Dannah: We have three, active kitties who are not afraid of water and drink lots of it. I started noticing they were playing with their water dishes so often I was refilling them up to three times a day because half of the water just ended up on our floors. I wanted a solution that kept their interest and encouraged them to keep drinking but required less maintenance and cleaning up for us (I am very pregnant and bending down is a non-pregnant person's game). I flipped back and forth between this one and other models of a similar price but ultimately went with this model.
It's been great! I will say, my cats are not ones to shy away from these sorts of contraptions so they loved it and took to it quickly. If you have a more timid cat, they may not like it. I have not had any filtration problems, they stay clean for at least two weeks and we've gotten by changing them out monthly with no negative affects on water quality.

It's extremely quiet and let's you know well before it needs to be refilled.

The only con is it's being somewhat difficult to refill (the cord is attached) and a little messy to clean but we worked around that by using a refillable water jug to fill it...
