Amazon Customer: This book is ok...but I would have like more recipes that were almost the everyday type thing. A lot of the recipies, I would never make. I"m sure there are a lot of ppl out there that would love these...but for me, not so much. HOwever....there are quite a few recipes that I can't wait to try.

redkatgirl: I received this instant pot from freezer cookbook. I haven’t tried anything yet. It came decently packaged but driver did not follow delivery instructions nor the sign on the front door. I really think I will like this cookbook it’s well arranged. The recipes look good.

Amazon Customer: Very well written, this book gives lots of adaptable "road-map" recipes and great ideas for using your Instant Pot for quick meals. Don't begrudge the price, it's worth every penny.

Sandy ToesSandy Toes: This cookbook is truly unique, in that it expands the meaning of "pantry cooking" to include food straight from the freezer, no thawing required. The aim is to take no-prep cooking as far as possible, with the best result possible. Judging by the 2 recipes I've made, the authors hit their goal. I will update when I've cooked more.
The book has fairly standard chapter organization, with Soups, Noodles, Chicken & Turkey, Beef, Pork, Fish & Shellfish. There are no breakfasts or desserts, and no photos. The Index is a good one, with both recipe name, category and ingredient listings for all recipes, so it's no problem to find any recipe in the book, whether you know what you want to cook or simply have an ingredient to use up. There's a little something for everyone cuisine-wise, but please use Look Inside to read the Index before you buy. I do this whenever the option is there, and it's saved me from being disappointed many times over.
The authors use some unusual ingredients in a handful of recipes, such as Steak-umm sliced steaks (frozen shaved steaks can be used instead) in Beef and Noodle Stroganoff (photo) and frozen quesadillas (freeze your own if you...

Ann: I received a free digital copy of the book from Netgalley. After looking through about half of the book, and cooking a few recipes, I went ahead and ordered a paper copy of the book from amazon. I really loved the recipes. Easy, quick, and really good. And spoiled kids ate it. The recipes are charted with all the times and settings. I like that they list possible substitutions where they will work, but caution about something that will not.
