InSinkErator F-2000S Water Filtration System - Enjoy Clean, Healthy Water On Tap

Jeff Borden: The system works well and was relatively straightforward to install. My only complaint is that there is a slight leak that comes from where the filter goes into the system. If there was going to be a leak I would have thought that it would come from a water line connection as opposed to an area that doesn’t involve any of the installation process. The leak is minor (a couple of drops an hour), but I am reaching out to Amazon for a replacement.

The replacement arrived quickly and I was able to determine that it was the initial filter cartridge that was the problem. All of the remaining parts are working perfectly so this was a quick and easy fix. Considering that the filter cartridge is the most expensive part of the system this is a little disconcerting that the first one was defective but hopefully it is not indicative of quality issues going forward.

Dale S.: I had to replace the filter for my InSinkErator instant hot water system. I discovered that the company that installed the system used their own filtration add-on filter that was now bankrupt and that size/fit filter was no longer available. I ordered this InSinkErator filtration system. I did have to purchase a few extra parts as the old connections to the plumbing a larger diameter tubing. However, after that it was smooth sailing and I had it installed in about 30 minutes, or less. It works great!
