James: Noisy little unit.
This fountain does not get very hot. The fondue had to be warmed up more than my other fountain before it would circulate right.

Dale kimble: The product worked great for the kids and they loved it. I’m satisfied with the purchase and price it was a family party I used this for where they were all cousins. I’m considering buying a bigger one because I’d like to use it myself for adult gatherings. We do a lot of entertaining at our house. I used it for fruits.

Amazon Customer: These are pretty good for the price. My biggest complaint is that the chocolate or cheese sauce needs to be very diluted to the point that it can be very watery or oily in order for it to be thin enough for the machine to move it. It also is very small and not dishwasher safe. However they are very cute, and a fun addition to any party.

Nat: Very very small which makes it messy. Barely able to fit a stick with a piece of fruit into the chocolate. When there is the right amount of chocolate and oil it runs smoothly but it’s too small for my liking. Go with a size up.

Amber Rae: I'm iffy on this. I let this heat up for about ten minutes before I used it. It seemed to struggle to push the chocolate through so I added a bit of oil to the chocolate which helped. Cleaning it was a hassle and I'm not going to lie and say that it was spotless after I cleaned it. Right now it's probably somewhere in my cabinet with dried chocolate hanging about, however, it was a fun experience with my daughter that I will do again. It's small and perfect for the dinner table and maybe three or four people. My daughter is ten and we sat together, made chocolate covered marshmallows with sprinkles, talked, and had a wonderful night. It was so much fun and she loved seeing the chocolate falling around the machine. That, for 12 bucks or so, is not something I can complain about. It did it's job and is easily stored. I think adding oil to the chocolate helped a lot since it is so small and the motor so small. I suggest purchasing one of these unless you are using it for a big party.

Rockin Rhonda: My 5 yr old received this as gift. It is suitable for that. I wouldn't get for an adult because it is quite miniature.
I was pleasantly surprised with how simple it was to set up, use and clean. It only requires about 8oz of chocolate so there is not much waste. It is small, which is nice, but you will have to cut marshmallows, etc down to size to effectively drizzle chocolate. You need to melt the chocolate first and then pour into the fountain. That may seem like a disappointment, but the good thing is, it is more safe for children that way because it does not get hot to the touch. In fact, it barely gets warm at all - which is probably why they instruct to put oil in the chocolates when melting.
However, the chocolate candy melts did not harden to crunchy as it typically does. I suspect that is because the directions call for oil to be added when melting. I think it prevented the chocolate from crunching up. We will have to keep practicing!

Lauren R.: This definitely surpassed expectations. It's not an industrial chocolate fountain (not big enough to bath in) but for a small gathering it does a very nice job. For the money it can't be beat. I definitely recommend getting their chocolate for it. We had a family gathering of about 10 and everyone enjoyed it. Easy to clean. For the price I considered it to be disposable but it was so simple we cleaned it and can't wait to use it again.
