It was damaged such that it no longer fit together, and missing vital parts. I wish Amazon would crack down on sellers trying to pass off defective merchandise as new, but at least their customer service is good enough to make up for it most of the time. They shipped out another one at no cost (though it did delay me having a bike by about a week, and now I have to drop off the old one at a UPS store), and this one was actually new.
As for the actual bike, it is very stable and quiet, it has a good range of resistance, and everything seems to work as advertised. The screen is not super useful, as I have a fitness watch that tracks most metrics better than the bike, but the HR reader and various other metrics do work out of the box once you plug them into the display and put in batteries.
It is easy to roll on the wheels, but hard to maneuver around corners and through doorways. Luckily, it is light enough to just pick up when needed to get around a tight corner. The seat is not the most comfortable, but it attaches like a standard bicycle seat, so should be easy to swap out. Looking forward to getting to work out...

Larry DiGioia: My wife and I ride "real" bicycles outdoors from March through October. In winter we use indoor equipment, just a treadmill until now.
I can confirm that this is super-easy to assemble, and the instructions are spot-on. No inaccuracies or mistakes. It even includes a diagram and parts list. Even going slow and taking my time, I went from unboxing to riding in less than an hour. I have used the "professional" versions at the local "Y" a few times, and I see no difference. Very sturdy and solid. Another bonus is that it takes standard bike pedals in case you want to use shoes and clipless pedals. Also any "standard" bike saddle.
Since both of us need to use it, I thought that maybe I should get an extra seat and seat mount, so that I could just do a quick change between them and have the seat already adjusted for me. I sent the vendor an email, with the part numbers from the diagram and asked about pricing. The next thing I knew, both were on the way, free of charge!
My wife likes it very much, and she is pretty picky. She does at least an hour at a time (10 to 12 "miles.") I would point out that because of the weight, you need a pretty solid floor to sit this...

Fernando SanzziFernando Sanzzi: I’ve had this bike for about a month and a half, and the first thing I’ll say is that on top of the great quality and price, I am so grateful to have it at a time like this when staying inside is such an important, simple and meaningful gesture every person can and should do.
The bike itself is very quiet and well built, it feels strong and sturdy. I am a beginner rider, yet I don’t feel I’m missing anything any of the more extremely expensive machines seem to offer.
As you can see in my photos, it has a tray which very comfortable accommodates your own tablet or phone. I have also attached a cadence sensor to one of the pedals, which allows me to keep up and get the full spin class experience in the comfort of my living room. I couldn’t be happier and definitely recommend it if you want to stay home and stay fit.
Finally, their customer service is TOP NOTCH, I’ll explain: I prefer to track my distance in Kilometers instead of Miles, but I couldn’t find a way to configure it. I emailed them and they offered to send me a replacement tracker already configured in Km. It was expedited and at no cost to me, it actually arrived quicker than expected.
So, there...

Emily Duane: I spent a long time reading reviews of all the spin bikes in my price range. This one checked all of the boxes for me and has been an excellent alternative to a pricey Peloton. It is easy to assemble, stable, and easy to move around. The belt drive is absolutely silent. The seat is uncomfortable at first, but after a week's worth of rides my sit bones adjusted. The straps on the pedal cages don't stay as tight as I would like them to, but eventually I'll replace the pedals with SPD clip-in pedals for the shoes I have from going to spin classes.
I do wish the computer gave a readout for resistance and cadence, but I plan to purchase a Wahoo cadence sensor to attach to my various apps, and I discovered that 10 full turns of the resistance knob will take it from zero to basically stopped, so I use full/half/quarter turns to estimate resistance compared to prompts in the Peloton app.
