CW5_ReviewerCW5_Reviewer: Was a little worried when I read reviews about missing core and broken parts, but took a chance. Fortunately deer was intact and included the expected core. Also saw reviews about arrows traveling to far (or all the way through) the deer. Also not the case with the one I received. My first shot went through a rather thin area of the head (no I'm not that good of a shot, it's just wear it wound up). But as you can see by the picture, the arrow did not protrude an unreasonable distance through the target (it was probably like 6"). Pulling arrow out was easy.

roger rockwell: I was a bit apprehensive about this product due to some of the reviews I read. Some folks seem to have difficulty removing arrows. I didn't find that to be a problem, at all. I shoot a 70# compound and back the target with a bale of hay. Shooting at 25 yrds, the arrow does not go clear through the target. Arrows pull out easily. The only problem that I have encountered is a mature Muley Buck that hangs around my property. On two occasions he beat up on the target. He punched a couple of holes in it as well as nocked the antlers off and nocked the target off its stand. Any way, it is durable and functions exactly as advetised. I highly recommend. However, watch out for challengers.

Arrows get stuck in foam so hard that it is definitely the hardest target I’ve had to pull arrows out of. This happens with both FMJs and all carbon arrows.

It’s cheaply made, the foam outserts where the plastic legs attach to the body of the target break easily. Both the front and back foam outsert leg holders broke off after the 3rd day shooting this target just from how much it wobbles when it gets hit by an arrow.
I always place the deer target in my 3d target staked steel holder, this deer target wobbles and moves more than any other 3d target I’ve owned or shot.

The replacement vital foam, pops out regularly when shot with a compound bow at 70lbs from 60 yards.
Am able to use super glue to re-attach foam outserts where legs slide onto body of target, but they still rip off consistently.

Spend the extra cash and get a better 3d target, don’t waste your money on this cheaply made, easily breakable deer target. High disappointed with the lack of quality.

Amber: This is a hard styrofoam material and will not stand without the supports. It’s a great target especially for beginners and kids. Other reviews mentioned bad packaging and damaged product. I did not have this issue.
