john cashwell: Yes, I bought it just over 1.5 years ago and I really like this caliper. I like that I can turn it off, and move the caliper to another position, turn it on, and it will accurately read from that new position. It is fantastic. If I need to zero it from another position, no problem, just set the zero wherever you want and it will always be right on the mark. I bought this as an upgrade from the $18 digital "General" brand caliper that I was using and as a hand-loader/reloader, I need precision, period. There are a lot of recommendations out there and all suggested this as excellent choice. It has certainly proven to be an excellent choice for my precision needs.

Jens: This caliper handles very nicely, it glides smoothly, the results are repeatable, and for me, as a hobbyist, this is all I can ask for. Definitely an immense upgrade over those $20 calipers, at only a bit more than twice the price: definitely worth the money.

If I had to nitpick a little bit, I would like the set screw to be retained automatically; the way the product is made the screw can fall out (hence the 4/5 in ease of use). Otherwise, a perfect little caliper, highly recommended.

Deborah Silva: I like the fact that the hang onto the memory until you reset it. I found them to be very accurate and appropriate for my usage. I did make a little adjustment with the case as it sometimes would turn the calipers on it needed a little more clearance in this area so didn’t bump the on off switch. I like the fact it comes in a good sturdy case as well. I find the accuracy as well within 10,000.

Greg Wright: I ordered my caliper on July 11th, 2023 and have been using it for a few weeks now. I am happy to report that it turns on *automatically*, immediately as soon as I move the gauge to measure something. In addition it DOES TURN OFF all by itself. I have measured it and it takes exactly 5 minutes to turn itself off after you stop using it.

I also have an iGaging manual dial caliper that reads fractions/inches. I got the digital one to read metric and thousandths of inches. The manual one is easier to slide back and forth, but I don't feel this is a huge deal. In fact, maybe you prefer one that doesn't slide too easy to retain measurements. The manual one is much older, years older, so perhaps it will break in a bit. Again, even if it doesn't it is a small issue. I actually prefer the manual dial one as fractions are much easier, but my eyes are getting old and digital is easier to read. Plus the digital does metric and thousands.

Anyway, I almost didn't buy this because of the no auto-off review, but I did anyway and I am really happy, especially when I found out that they must have added that auto off feature. Maybe new firmware?

Al D.: Not bad but the case mine came in is not what's in the pictures. It came in a much cheaper case with a foam insert and the outer shell is slightly warped. It closes and all but hardly holds the caliper is place let alone keeping it safe.

Caliper itself seem to be ok. A little rough sliding open and closed but that improves with a good cleaning. Doesn't feel high quality in the hand but does the job as expected.
