Darby Hood: The only issue I have with this tire gauge is the plastic lens covering the needle came off in the packaging and I needed to super glue it back on.
One recommendation to the manufacturer, make a new version but spring loaded! Then it will be the best tire gauge ever! Also the measurements are kind of weird, how do I say 6.25/32nds of an inch??

Anthony SharpAnthony Sharp: If you are in the market for a digital tire depth gauge this is probably the one to buy this gauge is the exact same one as the one sold by MAC tools, and about 15$ cheaper nicely measures in metric and imperial/SAE, it has three modes Millimeters, inches and fractions, the range is 0-25.4mm/0-1" and it seems fairly accurate, it has a nice clear display and comes with a battery (cr2032 3volt), the construction is mostly plastic as you'd expect for the price, only issue I have is it feels a bit light and cheap and the actual plunger/pin is plastic but at the end of the day its a digital tool for less then 30$ and I'd recommend it if you want something like this even if it's a bit unnecessary. Or if you are a tire tech/doing lots of inspections this takes all the thinking out of it!
