Cliente de KindleCliente de Kindle: The manga came in good condition, except for some small details on the corners, but really, they are small. Maybe this is not important to you, but one corner came a little open and I had to paste it.
This happened because the box was TOO big, so the book hit itself against it while shipping, but apart from that, it's perfect.
About the story: It's a good one, and it has a cute friendship.

Virginia S: First of all I’d like to answer the question of why it’s called, ‘Orange’. My understanding is that orange and oranges are connected with joy and happiness and the series is about finding the joy they lost because of the mistakes they made as children. This is an excellent manga series, I’ve given it 5 stars, but it’s 5 stars with a few caveats.
First of all the artwork is gorgeous. She’s a wonderful artist and puts not just personality into each of her characters, but also her settings. You can tell that she is loving drawing and writing this manga and it quickly draws you into their world as a result.
Spoiler alert 🚨
This is a science fiction manga, and some science fiction manga gets pretty funky. But as far as sci fi goes, this one is pretty tame and the ‘science’ in it thus far is based off of a quick lecture on the theoretical possibilities of going faster than the speed of light. This deeply impacts the characters but at least in this volume, there are no hints about how the characters, who aren’t incredibly clever, figured out how to send letters to each of themselves ten years in the past.
I think that what makes this manga so...

Dani Reviews Things / Love in a time of Feminism: The following review is for the series as a whole, i.e. both volumes 1 and 2 of the collection.
This is a very conflicting review for me because I genuinely enjoyed reading the series. I got the collection edition that came in two parts, and had ordered the second part through Amazon Prime Same-Day Delivery while only halfway through the first because I knew I'd want to just keep reading. However, I think it could perpetuate some dangerous ideas regarding suicide and happiness that the creator did not intend.
The story is mostly narrated through the experience of Naho, a shy girl and "mother hen" of her group of friends. On the first day of a new school year, she receives a letter from her future self containing a mission: save Kakeru. The letter details what happens on each day (how does she remember this much detail?) and a to-do list of sorts. Future Naho has regrets and wants Past Naho to address these.
Naho is only one of six friends in this group, including Kakeru. I liked how each character was different, but they all were such fierce friends, supporting each other in so many ways. When someone was being picked on, they stood up for that person...

melanie (meltotheany / jtotheimin): Orange is a manga series that will definitely pull on your heartstrings. Heck, before even starting the actual story, the first two art pages at the beginning about broke my heart by themselves. This story starts out with our main character, Naho, receiving a letter from herself ten years in the future. She and her group of friends are sixteen and in eleventh grade in high school, but what her twenty-six-year-old self is trying to warn her of is imperative.
Future Naho informs present day Naho that she will lose the boy she likes if she doesn't change some of the actions and choices she is about to perform and choose. This obviously makes Naho hyper aware of everything she and her friends are doing, because she is so scared she is going to repeat past mistakes and end up losing this boy anyway.
The best part about this manga series is the phenomenal friendships. This book has one of the best circle of friends I've read about in years. They constantly are showing their unconditional love and support to each other, and are honestly a freakin' treat to read about. Seriously, friendship goals.

kp: Ok, so to start off, this manga was amazing and couldn't put it down. It also touches all of your emotions. You will cry(alot ') , laugh, and of course feel joy.
As I mentioned u will cry because the manga touches tough subjects in life (cant say or I would spoil it) . And also heavily focuses on regrets as they occur and the future consequences. So, if you don't want to have to break out the tissues then this manga is not for you! Trust me, I don't cry while reading or watching sad stories but this book will touch your heart.
But there is hope! Naho can fix her regrets with the help of her future self and save Kakeru from a horrible future that her future self warns her about.
While there is very sad moments, there are plenty of happy moments'.And of course there is some humor to help cheer you up!
I loved all of the main characters! They each had a distinct personality and often rag on each other but when it counts they are there for each other.
While, I did love each character. I did sometimes get frustrated with Naho. She is timid and over thinks things, and this sometimes causes her to be insecure and lack the ability to just be her...
