Get ready to be taken on a wild ride through an alien invasion!Claire: This is one of my favorite new series. I listened/ read this at work while doing cleaning solo! Ruby Dixon had a fun easy to read writing style and before you know it…the time has come to order the next book in the series.

Dawana: I couldn’t stop reading this. I literally stayed up all night reading! Raahosh is misunderstood and stubborn. Liz is just as stubborn with a mouth that won’t stop stirring the pot. Together, they are entertaining, fighting and pulling. I liked Raahosh and found myself cheering him on as he figured out how to win Liz over. They face quite a few trials but come out on top. They are steamy!!! I like how blunt Liz is even when I wanted to smack her.
Seriously, these books are just what I’ve needed to feel lately. I get lost in the imagery and new emotions and raw pain of the people and aliens. I love the way there’s healing but usually just as much snarkiness. I can’t wait to read more.

Kindle Customer: I actually don't love Liz as much as Georgie in the first book but she got way better at the ending to the point she became a close close second I really enjoyed it I was actually going to give it a four stars but after the end I'm like okay this is a five stars this is a nice world it's so secluded and I love my monsters they're so sweet and kind and gentle and broken but in a good way I love it I can't believe the seriously I never knew about it

Elaine M: I preferred this to Book 1. It's definitely worth reading book 1 because this is a continuation of that story but it's not entirely necessary. I really like the relationship that develops between Liz and Raahosh, it's a bit of a 'Beauty and the Beast' situation with extra spice.

Lidija Nyman: I had the same thought when it came to the first book in the series, but where many erotica authors struggle to balance the erotica with the actual story, Dixon manages to blend both together seamlessly. It could be easy to dismiss this story as "weird smut for weirdos" (which, I will admit, I am a weirdo who liked it), the book finds strength in its erotica scenes. I find that a lot of people tend to, quite frankly, not write sex scenes that well, but there was a certain frankness in the scenes that I found endearing.
Dixon also spent quite a bit of time building tension between the main characters as well as developing their personalities that led to the strength of the storytelling. I found myself not wanting to put it down at many points, wanting to know what would happen next.
Overall, if you don't mind some oddball monster erotica but like to spice it up with character building in the meantime, this is definitely the book for you!

Power Librarian: This second in the series is just as addictive as the first! It’s a bit of an enemies-to-lovers plotline. Raahosh immediately “resonates” with Liz, which tells him that she’s his mate. So, he kidnaps her and takes her to a cave where he hopes to convince her to stay with him.
Liz is absolutely hilarious. She doesn’t know that Raahosh understands what she’s saying, and she talks to herself A LOT. She also has absolutely no intention of becoming an alien housewife. This book is full of humour and a little bit of suspense, and some angst, particularly towards the end.

Kindle Customer: Liz is extremely annoying, and selfish. There is a lot of miscommunication between Liz and her alien mate. The fact she had suffered from being kidnapped by other aliens and was supposed to be sold out (plus all the trauma of the experience) before the spaceship crashed doesn't help.
Roohash is socially challenged, is big and scary with lots of scars and has a massive chip on his shoulders that influence his actions.
There is A LOT of drama and spicy times b4 their kind off hea.
This was good blue alien p@rn.
The audio book is free on catalogue plus Audible. The narration is really good. Free on KU as well.

Anti Anti Anti: ‘Twas aight. Spice was good and helped rating.
Raahosh was a good character - if I suspend my morals be avoid the fact he kidnapped her and forced the khui. He sees growth throughout the book and ends up being generally quite likeable, but at the same time, his character at the end is so different from the beginning that it just kinda feels like a different person. Oh well. I would have preferred more background info about him.
Liz was not my fav at all. She became quite conniving and deliberately “mean” towards the other women when her life wasn’t working out how she wanted, eg she told a pregnant lady that the meat looked like rat meet and the aliens were probably just testing what humans out up with (not true), and she also deliberately stirred other things and I never really understood why other than to be a brat, eg pointing out that one couple got the smallest cave, and another pregnant lady was probably having a litter when that’s just not how things work. It’s like, yeah sure, let’s just mess with the emotional fragility if these pregnant women who were recently kidnapped, held against their will in filth, and are now pregnant on an alien ice...

Vallene: I found reading Ice Planet barbarians between my dark and emotional reads a perfect mental boost.
They are fun to read. 🔥🔥🔥 Steamy and spicy.
Liz and Raahosh's toxic start to an exciting relationship is a fantastic read. Liz's personality is absolutely vinegar and funny enough I don't like her, yet I enjoyed reading her story. Raahosh I felt so sorry for him with these mixed signals from Liz. Luckily Liz stepped up. An awesome thumbs up from me...
