Alien Most Wanted: Captive Creature - An Exciting Sci-Fi Adventure!

Lynall: Starts out dark, but it is well worth continuing to read. The story is far sweeter and different to what the beginning started as. The romance is fabulous.

IgB: I started with the author's Alien Abduction series and I was hooked from there! Wasn't sure how a prison story would go, but it's been riveting! I'd recommend her to anyone who likes good world building along with their romance.

This isn't that bad. Yes it's been done before and yes you can't think to hard about what's happening but to me that's par for the course. It's aliens and insta-love/fated mates. I've read better, I've read worse.

Not exactly a fan of the MCs first time together being witnessed. I do appreciate that the guard that watched was killed, and that the H was able to cover the h's body so the guard couldn't really see anything, but it's still kind of uncomfortable. It also starts because he can't control the urge to get the smell of another male off of her even though she keeps telling him nothing actually happened.

The h's age isn't confirmed but my guesstimate is early 20s. The H's age isn't confirmed, but my guesstimate is late 20s, though I'm not sure how the monsters age.

The h isn't a virgin, she just broke up with her ex so maybe it's been a couple of days. The H isn't a virgin, he's been celibate for years. Some alien BC they shot into the h upon arrival at the prison, it can be reversed.

Mary Kirkland: Amanda was minding her own business in her living room when an alien shows up out of nowhere and abducts her. Next thing she knows, she's in an alien prison on an alien world and two immense aliens are fighting to win her as the prize. She fears what either of them will do to her once they win her but she doesn't have a choice in the matter, there's no escape.

Riker has been in the prison for a while but doesn't take part in the fights that only serve to entertain the guards. But once when he spots Amanda, he knows what will happen to her if some of the other inmates get to her so he decides to fight to win her and he does win.

Once they are alone he has to make it seem like he's brutal to her and she goes along with the ruse but he really just wants to keep her safe. The worst possible thing that could happen is that Riker would feel protective of her and have his mating instincts kick in which is exactly what happens. MichelleTbooks: I read a fair bit of dark romance and I didn’t think this was truly dark but do check trigger warnings as does deal with dark content. This is a fun easy read with a possessive AF MMC. I really enjoyed the development of the relationship between the main couple.

Cat 1228: Creative..Engaging and definitely unpredictable! Amanda…abducted then sold …finds herself in a horrific situation in a violent alien world prison! Riker and Amanda’s story is a catastrophic chain of events which defy reality.. where any thing can happen and does! I loved Kiki..the sentient being who touches Amanda’s heart and adds an amazing level of compassion and caring to an otherwise wild, violent and unpredictable love story! I’m so disappointed that the story ends in a cliff hanger …..

McKenzie: I genuinely really loved this book. Mandy and Riker were so cute together. It is a pretty fast paced book but I really enjoyed that about it. I really liked the way they met and how they’re love for each other evolved. Riker was a great Hero and Mandy a great Heroine. It was basically an insta love story but it was very well done in my opinion. The spice was great I’d give it a 2.5/5 🌶️. If you’re looking for an insta love story with a sexy red alien man and a strong but sweet lady that includes a little bit of violence and prison escape drama with some spicy scenes and some really cute scenes definitely give this one a read.

⚠️ A little bit of a spoiler ahead ⚠️
The fact that there was an indigenous spider monkeyesque population on the planet was really cool. Kiki is one of the spider monkeys and it turns out they are super intelligent beings and she befriends Amanda after her and Rikers escape from the prison and helps them survive. I wasn’t expecting the super cute spider monkeys but they are definitely one of my favorite parts of the story.
I hope the next book is about Altrez (Rikers brother) cuz I really want to read more about him and...

Alexandra Leigh: Really enjoyed the build up to the two main characters falling in love after Amanda was kidnapped from Earth and used as a prize for prisoners to fight over.

Tygermoon: One of the things I love about this author's books is her ability to write convincing heroes. Her style to write in the third person helps with this, as I've found that many (though not all) female romance writers have issues writing male leads in first person. This isn't the only reason I enjoyed this book, though. I was amused by the title of the series first of all ( if you know, you know) . I also was pleased with the strong characterizations of both hero and heroine. While I completely expected and accepted the tropes of the story, I was still drawn into the hero's caring and clever personality. I really think one of the best things, however, was the introduction of the "spider monkeys" and how just a few paragraphs really highlighted their intelligence and compassion.

The only reason this book gets 4 stars from me is that it's too short! I expected a resolution, and while we aren't left hanging, I really wanted to see them get their complete HEA. I also hope Ms. Phillips is planning on a story in this series for the bat-like alien we caught a glimpse of in the story. I know the next book will likely be about this hero's brother, and that will tie the books together in...
