Mubarama: I love alien books! Soo much!! This is a really great one. Short and so amazingly sweet. The FMC isn’t one of those who argues over everything, and when she does it’s something totally reasonable. They made a great couple. I wish there had been an epilogue, but there’s are more books in the series. If they aren’t KU, though, I won’t be buying.

RatherBeReading: First Cee Cee is abducted from her home while jogging, only to find out Earth's military has abducted many females with no ties to be sacrificial lambs on an alien planet. Barely escaping their horrendous landing, Cee Cee gets separated from the other women by an alien warlord- Burourdei, who she's having trouble communicating with. The whole story is about her need to find her friends while falling in love with her warlord. This story kept me enthralled and reading until I finished. This was a great first story to this series. I guess this is one of many books and I plan to keep reading more. There's also mention of bonus stories if you sign up for the author's newsletter. This is a HFN book. Happy reading! ;D

Leigha: If you couldn't relate to Ice Planet Barbarians because you hate the cold, well do I have the book for you. Alien Tyrant is basically Ice Planet Barbarians on a dessert Planet. Instead of frostbite, you have sunburn. Okay, in all seriousness this was a delightful book, as with most alien romance books this may not be for you but it certainly entertained me. I broke my new year in with this book and I do not regret it at all. This has all the traditional tropes you'd find in an alien romance, mates, communication barriers, and kidnapped women. You know the basics of most alien romances. The hardest thing to get past is the aliens are sort of based on kangaroos but that quickly didn’t bother me. (Just starting to dip my toes in alien books.) Also if your like me and forgot most descriptions you can get past that pretty quick. It's a quick read, it's on kindle unlimited and I was like why the heck not?

Kindle Customer: I‘m hooked, I came into this series late but I’m loving the massive backlog I have to catch up in on. There’s a lot going on in this one, not just the world building, but also how it all began.
I really liked Cece, even though she’s no warrior or soldier trained, she never stops fighting, or learning, she’s just not one to sit and wail her fate but a pick yourself up and fight, kind of girl and it bagged her a real sweetie of a male. I love how he’s totally in love with her not just because the dragon thing told him but also because he likes her for her spirit.

mango95123: I’m giving this two separate reviews: the first is if you like the cinnabun romance without a lot of smut. The second is if you want smut.
If you want to read a sweet romance without a lot of smut, with a lovable alien, Buroudei, who has insta-love for Cece, you will like this book. I give it four stars in that regard. If you like Ice Planet Barbarians, you will probably love this book.
Buroudei is instantly sweet and trying to understand CeCe, who is his fated mate, and he does everything to make her happy even as he doesn’t understand her. He basically walks around with a hard-on around her but is sweet and respectful when she keeps pushing him away.
Cece find Buroudei interesting and attractive but she resists his attempts of affection for most of the book. This is a slow burn even though the book is only 230 pages. It’s insta-love and attraction but Cece resists intimacy throughout the book, even as she starts calling him her alien, her alien boyfriend, even her husband, pretty fast. The book got only four stars because I got annoyed with her constant hesitancy to be intimate and there’s a scene where she does the dumb woman thing of screaming his...

JML: I was first introduced to It's a Dax in an Claimed Among the Stars anthology and I really enjoyed the story so I decided to check her series out . In this first book Earth has much more advanced technology than the ordinary person actually knows about. The world's government have been exploring outside our solar system for new energy sources and found a new planet with excellent resources but it has a primitive warrior society on. With the world's governments working together they kidnap their own citizen in many varying fields and force them on a mission to this new planet. CeCe is one of the young women betrayed by her own government and sent to a alien planet. When she and several other women land on the planet they are tracked by violent animals and then " rescued " the women of the warrior population. Buroudei is the leader of one of the warrior tribes he's been told by the most sacred of his people that his mate was near and would be nothing he had ever seen before. When he sees the large bird fall from the sky and women flee from its belly he tried to reschedule until one face takes over his heart and mind the one shown to him by fate , the one that would be his mate. CeCe...

Kate Denver: This is the first book I’ve read by Ursa Dax and I found it by pure accident. But I’m glad I did. I’ll be continuing the series and picking up book 2.
These aliens seem more in-touch with females the the males of Earth…what not to live? 🤣
I recommend to lovers of both Alien and Monster Romance. A solid 4 stars out of 5.

Morgana: I actully really enjoyed reading this.
A large unknown number of human women are kidnapped by the government to serve as the first contact team to an unknown alien race for an undisclosed reason. And the aliens also have huge dicks.
Going straight out the gate with talkijg about the relationship between the main characters. I liked it. I liked it a lot actually. The empathise on the fact that Cece is consenting and happy to do the do with him is a nice breathe of fresh air compared to all the greying lines of consent when it comes to some romance novels, especially with aliens.
I enjoyed the fact that they don't actually have sex until much later in the book and the extension is high strung between them. I found myself looking forward to it rather than just waiting for it to happen.
The ML is very sweet and some of things he says to Cece made he happy squeal.

Loolie QC: I have read the entire series on KU and am getting ready for a re-read. Buroudei's and Cece's story is the launch of a superb series that will let you escape the everyday humdrum and surround you with a sensual story, in a desert landscape filled with danger and surprises. It's definitely steamy; Buroudei is a beautiful character, with (ahem) some unusual... assets. It will elicit a good laugh here and there, which I find important to every story. If you're looking for something dark and brooding, this is not quite the fare you will find. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recommend the author!
