I got this to replace another carrier that was not RV certified. If you are going to bounce up and down the roads with an RV, it is important to have a carrier sturdy enough, especially if you are carrying e-bikes which are quite heavy. It is not cheap, but does the job well. assembly was relatively easy once the diagrams were decoded. Where to place the 2 bikes relative to each other to balance the load was a bit of guesswork.
Worth the cost.

I bought this for our American fifth wheel as I didn’t want to keep putting our electric bikes in the back of the truck.
Although it had to come from the states delivery was very quick.
Assembly was easy and straight forward, the quality is very high, and it appears very strong too.
We haven’t traveled with it yet but it is ready to go for our next trip

Ron: This is a well engineered and solid product. Used it now on my RV for four road trips and it works exactly as promised. Easy to lock, very secure, heavy as it should be. one of the best if not the best bike racks on the market.

After waiting for over half a year and two delays in shipping I gave up waiting on a Hollywood Rack Carrier. When I saw this on Amazon I gave it a try since it was highly recommended for use on a 5th Wheel RV. My order was promptly filled and arrive four days later. Assembly was fairly easy using the instructions but two very minor questions: first, the reflectors on each side of the bottom tire bars when installed face upward which would not reflect and headlights for another vehicle (stuck on bars on wrong side??, doesn’t matter bike cover goes over them). Secondly, the Velcro straps for the four tires, the only way the Velcro works is after you loop the strap around the tire you need to twist the Velcro to get it to stick on its fabric, again no biggie. One key locks all three locks: the lock to secure your rack to your RV and the two locks to secure bike to rack. Locking key can be tight at times but adjustable movements up/down on holding bar will solve any issue. Careful when depressing locking lever and moving securing hook, and keep fingers/hands always from sliding, pitching can occur, so be aware.
Some side notes for prospective buyers: 1) buy a...

SearcherSearcher: It's hard to find eBike racks out there that are strong enough and rated to safely hold two, heavy eBikes, but this one is a great rack. We've been hauling our two fatty eBike mountain bikes around and it does a great job. It's very solidly built, easy to use, fits into our trailer hitch, is easy/intuitive to use and comes with all the straps etc. to secure your valuable bikes. The arms are padded so they can be snugged firmly onto your bike w/o scratching it and together with the wheel straps and extra generic strap they provide your bikes are never going to rattle loose or fall off. It's designed with removable pins so you can fold it up while its on the hitch to reduce it's footprint, and to fold it down (when bikes are off) so you can get into the back tailgate. Perfect rack in all those regards. The only minor marks I can deduct is the locks. Good news is the rack has two sets: each bike arm is lockable to deter people from swiping the bikes off your rack and then there is another lock to deter someone from steeling the rack off your hitch. Given the cost of the rack and bikes, I do worry about both. The locks are locks... but if someone really wants...

Keith A. Owens: I'm a full time nomad travelling in a class a motorhome. For a year I suffered through dragging my 60+ pound RadRover ebike in and out of my rig when moving spots. I was having trouble figuring out what kind of rack to purchase and the cost for a quality rack seemed high so I kept putting it off. I learned there was also a premium for a rack that was 'RV approved'. Finally I saw a deal on this rack and snagged it. I've been travelling with it for a few trips now and have had the opportunity to experience what it's like in practical use.
- Easy enough to assemble
- Between the wheel straps, the ratcheting clamp (which is the primary stabilizer) and the extra straps I don't really worry about it falling off while traveling.
- The fact that there are built in locking mechanisms on both receiver hitch and the main clamp is awesome. I don't need to worry about separate locks and someone would really have to plan ahead and be very determined to steal it off the back of my rig. Super convenient and provides great peace of mind for me.
- Loading and unloading took a little trial and error for me to figure out the best way for me. I'm traveling solo with...
