MD: If your like me, I really try and do my homework on optics, I have a few of these. This is one that keeps popping up with mostly great reviews. Most everything I read it is "its great but not aimpoint great". The biggest difference I can tell is durability. The metal that is used is 6061-t6 and not 7075. Yea its a strong metal but your top tier optics are using 7075. The question is how far down the scale of durability does the optic go. I have put mine through a lot and it has done great. Lets just say it has gotten bumped around a ton to say the least, so take this contradiction for what it is. I am not a fan of the circles, hash marks or what ever (keep it simple). I just want a dot and I want it to stay where I need it and on when I need it. Truthfully, it has done that and I can't complain. But I do not have it on something that is my "go to". Even though I use it, I can not help but have a sense of distrust every time I use it. Sorry not sorry. If you need to "trust" an optic, like it or not this optic wont do it. It can't because it is not proven. And the YouTube video of the Holosun getting shot with a shot gun, I do not know what that is suppose to prove, but it is not...
