Kindle Customer: I was hesitant to start based in the description seemed abit too overbearing male and simping peasant for my liking but it was really well written everyone was likeable so your rooting for the relationships whether it be friendships or more.
Definitely worth a shot.

morgaina: I was surprised how much I loved this book. It had a great story, with enough twists and turns to keep you turning the pages. The characters were richly written and I loved the mmc (Declan you own my heart) and his group of friends. I can’t wait to read book 2

Cliente Kindle: Un bel libro, storia avvincente e mai scontata, una bella storia di amore, senza eccessive scene di sesso. Mi è piaciuto molto

Shanitha Azim: If there is one Romance Sub genre that fails me, then it’s Fantasy Romance. Trust me, we are not friends even after my many many trials. I really love the idea of it but I loose interest in the books pretty quickly.
It’s rare that I like one BUT this one just proved me why people are gaga over this sub genre.
Dear God, what did I just read?
Absolutely-Freaking-Amazing!
From the Prologue itself I was invested and done for. I knew pretty early on it’s going to blow my mind and it definitely did.
Declan Thorne- you’re one masterpiece hero. I loved how he was with Evangeline. His ‘touch her and die’ vibe made me swoon. Their connection took time to develop and deepen and I enjoyed reading it.
As a powerful being with a past like his, he was perplexed with the way Evangeline treated him. And that’s what I liked the most about her. She was kind to the core. Sweet but so resilient.
Another thing I enjoyed was the plot. There was no loophole to the story, every reason and action was solid. And many times I wondered about the endgame and still couldn’t predict it. Let’s not even talk about the epic battle scene (I’ll run out...

Vivi Sool: The first 45% of book 5 star, I liked everything. The next 45% is boring, absolutely nothing happens. The last 10% is a big battle and revealing the "main secret" of the plot.
So I really liked the first half of the book, the story was entraining, development of the relationship between MC was great and no insta love or lust. They had great tension and passion, almost sex scene was hot. The world was interesting, I wanted to know more and heroine was brave and strong. It was cool to see our hero vulnerable, when he depended on heroine as well as she on him.
"A woman who did not think of him as an archmage with inordinate powers, but as a man who could be hurt."
I liked THIS between them.
Heroine
But everything changed abruptly and was like that till the ending. Heroine proved to be tstl (aka "too stupid to live" more than once). First she wandered alone outside temple in the mystic world crowded by monsters. Then she refused protection of guards while being the lover of the main guy in the kingdom. What could possibly go wrong?
"Evangeline had laughingly dissuaded his attempts to appoint her dedicated guards. I don’t need guards accompanying...

Lucy A.: Great writing, nice easy read with good world building. Easy to get into the characters and a cute HEA if not a little predictable
