Nothing creative: Easy to assemble, added the heat shield and it kept me toasty for cigar and scotch nights. One of the wheels is a dud though and I can’t find out how to contact the seller for a replacement wheel. Only 4 stars due to that. I bought this one: Hiland-HLDS01-CGT

Safety First: I ordered/received my patio heater. It had missing parts, the instruction manual didn't match other literature supplied with the heater, it does not light, the igniter button and pilot do not work. I called AZ Patio Tech support- they provided the wrong directions, later admitted that and are aware that their Chinese manufacturing partners have compliance issues. I spent 7.5 hours over days on the phone with their tech support and upper management. IT DOES NOT WORK, brand new. They want me to disassemble 90 parts and rebox it to return it OR they want me to disassemble and send them the burner unit, for them to repair. IT IS BRAND NEW. Worst customer service imaginable. Plus, they told me to disregard all safety features and light it on HIGH with a fireplace lighter. DO NOT BUY FROM AZ PATIO. An Amazon customer service supervisor was on the call with them and heard it all.

A. Lashbrook: So far, so good. This unit is the second of this type. The first one melted the heat screen and was returned. I’ve one operated this once so far and it seems ok.

Amazon Customer: This is a great heater for the price. I bought one, put it together, fired it up, and went inside and ordered another. A couple of things to be aware of: the description says they come with a bladder to add weight - I thought this was a great idea, but they do not come with a bladder. The second heater we got had some shoddy riveting on the snap for the door, I used a couple of sheet metal screws instead. Other than that we are happy with the heaters, especially for the price. If you get one expecting a $1,400 heater, you might be disappointed - you'd be better off to crack the wallet open a little more and spend the cash.

Switz: I have ordered two of these heaters and both do not look like the photos.

There is no drinks table and there is no door to access the bottle, instead you lift the cylinder cover up.

I thought the first one was broken as the pilot didn’t seem to light. You actually need to turn the knob a bit further round to get the pilot to light. Even then it’s hard to see if it has lit. I would advise trying it at night so you can see the pilot light clearly.

Other than that it’s a good unit and works well.

I has told amazon about the error in the photos but nothing has changed !

Nick HNick H: Wanted a patio heater for the evening chills after the sun has gone down post bbq and browsing on Amazon this one took my eye.
It arrived next day all well packaged and boxed up and my 10year sold son and I set to work putting together. It comes with the spanner and all the bolts needed although as another review says you will need a philips screwdriver to build the top cover. It goes together quite well, we only took about 25 minutes to put together with the two of us working as a team. It comes with a push fit regulator (I think the one used on Butane bottles) but as I have propane I had a spare regulator (the screw in type) but if you want to use Propane you will need to order a seperate regulator.
All the parts were there including fixings to ground fix it if you want. There is mention in the listing of a shelf and cover but the instructions make no reference to this so assume these are options not included

Once lit (turn and press the gas flow then press the ignitor) it warms up really quickly and had its first use last night - loved it!

Amazon Customer: Arrived on time. Easy to assemble. Works great except having problems with the ignitor starting it. Use a long ignitor and a way it goes. Other than that a great product

Manny: I've used this heater once for a party and it worked great.

After I assembled it did take me a good 30 minutes to get it working but that was my fault. I bought a new 20 lb propane tank from Home Depot to go with this heater. The new tanks will not release gas simply by opening the valve at the top. It has a sort of automatic check valve which won't open unless the regulator (hose) on the heater is screwed all the way on. I mean ALLL the way. It looked like it was screwed on good and it was very tight and wouldn't turn any more but after taking it off and on a few times I was able to screw it on even more than the previous times. So it must be aligned correctly or else you'll think it's on all the way but no propane will be able to leave the tank.

The table is a very nice addition for drinks or food or anything. It is easily adjustable in height with large black plastic nuts. Looks great. I ordered a good $40 patio heater cover as well and I first thought the cover was not going to fit due to the table but then I realized I could just lower the table all the way down to store it in the cover and raise it as I please on the next use.

The heat output is great!...
