Lavick: I like that it is cost efficient and easy to set up. Just put the batteries in and wait for it to get ready and then test it. Everything you need to put it where ever you want.

Athena: I had a carbon monoxide detector that was a nightmare to set up every time the battery had to be changed n would beep the whole time u were trying to set it up. Gave me a migraine n set my dogs off. This one was so easy to set up took like a min not even. It was great n even though the screen shuts off it blinks green every 30 seconds so I know it's working. It also doesn't take specialty batteries just a couple AA.

G. Habermann: I got this and opened it up. It comes with a couple of different mounting options which is nice (wall anchors & some 3M sticky tape). Says it needs 2 AA batteries.. no problem. The instructions are in broken English and are far from complete. That, along with the marketing images and copy on the Amazon page led me to be pretty confused. Let me explain:
When the batteries were inserted it beeped and while the screen didn't light up blue like what is shown in the pictures, it did start counting backwards down from 100. Once it got to around 30 or so, the screen shut off. Instructions talked about buttons that didn't exist along with endless talk about where NOT to put this device and it told me that it should blink green once every 15 seconds. Again.. none of this is correct.
As it turns out the light should blink around every 30 seconds (it's faint and not obvious). The screen does not illuminate nor give you the PPM shown in the marketing photos. It sits, quietly in the background and waits for CO to appear. Once that happens, this thing turns into a siren.. lighting up the screen blue, telling you the PPM, and flashing and wailing at a volume that could wake the...
