GAM: I should have known better and I should have checked the reviews more carefully. This is not UL listed for CO2 detection. Most states in the US require that CO2 detectors have UL 2034 listing.
I ended up returning these because I have to pass a fire inspection to get a Certificate of Occupancy prior to the sale of a house. Additionally, I just wouldn't trust a detector that hasn't gone through UL listing.

Gary J. Kraudelt: Had this installed in our bedroom for apx. one month and the CO 2 alarm started going off every five minutes no matter what room we put it in on even next to an open window. Had to shut it down and will dispose of it. Ten year alarm lasted one month! Don't buy!!

Bex: 10 year battery claim is false. I bought these in Nov ‘22, only 9 months later, not working Aug ‘23. I bought one for my elderly mom. Thank God one unit beeped like crazy before it died. Do not rely on this product for your or your family’s safety.

Frank: I had bought 6 of these units for my daughters house, yesterday they had a fire in the basement that filled the house with smoke banked to 2 ft off the basement floor, NONE 0 of the detectors went off, there was 2 in the basement 1 being only 6 ft from the fire origin and the detector even has a little heat damage on it, luckily my son in law smelled it and was able to get my 7 month old granddaughter and there dog out of the house and call fire department.
Thank god this fire broke out in the morning and not at night when they were sleeping, I don't even want to think about that, I'm a Fire Chief in my area and purchased these for her thinking I'm making my family safe, this just proves cheaper isn't better, I will be replacing them with Kidde or First Alert.
