Captain Brock: A bit annoying that it will not latch the reading - I think it is supposed to. But you have to hold it on the valve stem to read it, and it goes back to zero when the pressure is removed. On the plus side, good grip makes it easy to hold for a reading. Looks cool and is quite accurate. I'll take it.

C Bryan: Very easy to read. Only problem was the needle is supposed to retain the pressure reading until you hit the release. This feature broke during the first use. Although we prefer to have the feature work as intended, it still reads the pressure and is perfectly serviceable so we plan to keep it.

Kamadoking: Just receive after waiting over a week. Gage has a loud rattle inside and pressure release doesn’t seem to work, it’s not stuck, just doesn’t work!

Chuck Cox: This product was described as glow-in-the dark. I think that’s a bit of a stretch, but am still very impressed with it for so many other reasons. If I ever find myself needing to check tire pressure after dark, I’ll simply grab a flashlight.

RennysoncemannRennysoncemann: No issues using this gauge, it seems to work fine. I bought a similar Vondior gauge at the same time, and found it was contaminated internally with some kind of flaky crud (worked fine after cleaning it out), but the TireTek was clean inside. Not that TireTek is necessarily immune to this - the two gauges are identical except for dial color (even the internal parts are the same), and I'm sure they come off the same dirty assembly line in China. So I suggest unscrewing the tip and checking for debris, if you're so inclined. After removing the tip, pull out the aluminum valve seat, rubber disc, clear plastic disc, and spring. That's where I found the junk in mine.
The one very silly mistake on the TireTek (but not the Vondior) is the luminous dial feature. I don't usually check my tires in pitch darkness so this isn't an issue for me.... but while the dial on both versions glows brightly after exposing to light, only Vondior bothered to also make the pointer glow! The TireTek pointer does not glow and is invisible in darkness. See the picture....
So as long as you don't check your tires inside your darkroom with the lights off the TireTek seems to be a decent tool. I...
