Janette alvarez: Decent chain lock, I would add this to another lock or security chain you may have. But I wouldn't expect this to protect your bike on its own. After all the money you spent on your bike, don't cheapen out on security. Make it a challenge when someone comes to steal your bike. I repeat don't expect this chain to do that job on its own, you as the owner need to see how you can implement this chain or others in the area that you're in. But if you are garaging your bike then this chain should be fine but still sleep with one eye open.

C: It's thick and sturdy. Feels very secure. Heavy, but not too heavy to carry in your backpack if you have a healthy back. I wish it was longer as it's hard to wrap it around the bike and a thick object like a tree as well. Nearly impossible. Have to chain it to something much thinner like a pole

General goods: I liked the look but found the lock rather large and clunky. I was concerned that the links could be cut with a bolt cutter. Since I have a very expensive bike to secure, I ended up changing it for a Vulcan which I feel is more secure and I like the lock style much better.

HaassenbergHaassenberg: Het hangslot is van zeer slechte kwaliteit. Sleutels met slechts 1 inkeping en heel licht van gewicht.
De ketting is wel dik en zwaar, maar de zwakste schakel. het hangslot, is echt een aanfluiting.
Ik durf mij dure fiets hier niet mee vast te maken en zal hem retourneren.

LiveAndLearn: I bought this in the fall of 2020 for my Rad Power bikes. I'm new to the bike scene and after doing research I knew I needed a fat chain with a heavy duty lock to deter people from trying to steal the bike but I didn't want to pay the price of big name lock companies for this length and thickness of chain. Today my bikes are still with me and I haven't had any issues. As far as I know no one has attempted to steal my bike, but I also attribute that to having these fat chains locking them up. My one user tip would be to make sure that the lock is vertical when trying to unlock it, for some reason it is much easier to open in that position and doesn't work in horizontal.
