Katie PadgettKatie Padgett: Great value for the money and so very easy to assemble - I did it without assistance. It took me less than 30 minutes to completely assemble this bed. I did use a drill to for the screws on the mattress slats - it is very important - do not overtighten the screws. There needs to be a little play in it otherwise the slats will split once there is some weight on them. It says this in the instructions but wanted to point it out because it's important. The bed looks great in our guest room/office and we think it was an excellent purchase.

Adriana Munoz: At first, I thought the boards on the bottom were too short so Ai contacted the seller. They responded promptly and explained that the frame has to be squeezed together to screw on the boards properly. Not an easy task but I got it done. Beautiful frame and very sturdy. I love it!!

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: The end result is it's very cute, very sturdy and we are all happy. However, it took my adult son who is good at this stuff and me as his assistant 4-1/2 hours to assemble. Thank goodness we both have a good sense of humor as often we had to screw things only to unscrew them to get another part in. They send an Allen wrench. If we did it that way, we'd still be working. You really need an electric screwdriver with a part that resembles an Allen wrench and someone with you who knows how to follow these instructions, step by step - and they are still confusing. But, we did it! We were EXHAUSTED!

I bought this mattress:
LINENSPA 8 Inch Memory Foam and Innerspring Hybrid Mattress – Twin Mattress – Bed in a Box – Medium Firm. Very comfortable. Very happy I went with 8" rather than 6.

You can see how cute it is. The drawers are a bit flimsy and you definitely should never let anyone bounce on this bed, but it's perfect. Cute. And Most important, all of his stuffed animals have room!

Megan: I purchased this bed simply to update the current one I was using. I love daybeds, and wanted something made of wood, white, and twin size. Not to mention affordable. This bed was perfect for my needs. It’s very sturdy. Wood is heavy. White is a true white. Not an off white. It’s true to twin size and fit my twin size comforter to a T. It’s a little higher than I thought it would be. Not an issue. There is a big yellow warning sticker that comes on the one side panel that I will have to find a way to remove.
As far as assembly, I personally needed an extra hand when it came to the panels needed to connect the sides. To be able to put the screws in evenly, I needed someone to hold the other side at the same height I was at on the other side. The Allen wrench is too small. It works, but constantly fell out of my hands. The instructions are poor, but not so much so you can’t figure them out.
Overall, I would recommend this bed to anyone of any age. I would also recommend patience when putting it together as it was frustration at times. It’s a beautiful, affordable piece of furniture. The picture is true to product.
