How did I bake for 40 years without? No good reason! There are just enough to use in one 9" pie pan. Placed on top of parchment paper on top of the pie crust- easy to remove when hot and then they stay clean. Cooled fairly quickly and stored back into the same container (with a bit of shaking). Worked better than I imagined.

Great quality pie weights. However, quite expensive and delivery took ages. You will also need two boxes for a 12" inch pan. After I ordered this, I found cheaper and equally good quality weights at Lakeland.
